I purchased this sweater in black, neutral and copper. It is a beautiful and soft mid weight sweater with a loose knit and slightly cropped length. I found it runs true to size. The sleeves are fitted and the bodice is slightly loose and slouchy, but in a good way. I would not recommend sizing up. I am 5’3” and 95 lbs and purchased the XS. This sweater looks great by itself or with a tank or button up shirt underneath, depending on the look you are going for. I can’t wait to wear it this fall and winter under a moto jacket. The copper color is perfect for fall. It’s more of a subdued or muted terra-cotta than copper. I have pale skin and strawberry blonde hair and it pairs beautifully. I had to return the neutral and black colors because they arrived defective. The neutral sweater was coming completely unraveled (queue Weezer’s Sweater Song!) all around the mock neck area because the knit wasn’t secured properly. If I wanted to destroy this sweater I could have by pulling the thread and walking away... The black sweater was coming undone where the shoulder and sleeve were knitted tighter and the left sleeve was a good 2” longer than the right sleeve. Free People clearly lacks in their quality control but they make up for it in their design aesthetic. I am taking my chances and ordering the neutral and black a second time because I love the style of this sweater so much and am hopeful the next two won’t be duds. Get it before it sells out.

Beautiful thick knitted sweaters that are true to size albeit, I bought a small instead of xs to prevent the sweater from being an extreme crop length. I haven't worn or washed the sweaters yet, but they appear to be delicate at the seams so I will most likely need to hand wash them to prevent unraveling.
