Outstanding boot for comfort ... seriously better than my athletic shoes. Pleanty of room to replace the stock footbed with an orthotic ... no lie, they are broken in from the start .. soft, thick leather, excellent laces, put six miles on them the first day and was blown away by the comfort .. I even wear them around the house, they are that comfortable. Sole is not slippery on the wet surfaces I have had them on ... even in the woods doing logging cleanup. They are slick on wet moss and old logs, however most boot soles are .... only calked (spiked) boots aren't. This is the soft toe version, so I can't say anything about the AL toe version. I bought these for my husband for his birthday. He said as soon as he put them on, “these are the most comfortable work boots I’ve ever put on my feet.” He said they felt like he was walking on clouds. Needless to say, he is very happy with them.

Bought these for my husband Aug. 4, 2020. He wears a lot of Keen's so we thought these workboots would be great. After 3 months, the sole has separated. Very disappointed since these cost almost $200.00. He has several other pairs/styles of Keen shoes that he's worn for years, but these are awful.

These are the best fitting and most comfortable pair of boots I've purchased. I had plantar fasciitis very bad before wearing these daily, but now it has gone away. I did swap the insoles for the Dr. Scholls Plantar Fasciitis type though. I think what makes these boots great is that that they are the natural shape/splay of your foot. The toebox took a couple days for me to get used to visually, but comfort wise these are hands down the best. A previous review mentioned a "squeak" in the boot. I noticed a very subtle squeak in one of my boots for 1 day. I believe it was the new leather on tongue and laced enclosure rubbing together. The squeak went away very quickly though. My feet are always dry and warm with these boots. If they ever fall apart, I'll buy another pair.

They’re huge. Keen has a foot shape on the insole and my foot matches. The boot is just way too spacious inside. They seem like they will cause blisters and get floppy so I will return.

Originally I gave this a 5. The boot fit great and was comfortable, but when I started wearing them I noticed they squeak when you walk. Not just a little bit, a lot. I tried wearing them for a day and around the house. It wasn't slowing down. My wife was laughing at me. It's almost comical, the sound comes from inside the boot, not between the surface you are walking on and the boot. So it's independent of what surface you are walking on.

These are the most comfortable work boots ever. Ever sense I fell off a roof and broke my foot it’s been a nightmare trying to find comfortable boots. I’ve tried all the expensive boots and nothing felt as comfortable as these.

I have worn Keen Loisvilles for over 10 years. I absolutely loved them until the room in the footbed was causing me to rub callouses on my foot. I went a size down and they fit in width but there weren't long enough. I tried these and quickly dropped the Louisvilles like a bad habit. These shoes are supportive, their comfortable - and the best news for all keen boot wearers - I have not broken a single lace. I used to laugh that my boots knew when I was running late because I would invariably break a lace. I kept at least 3 pairs in rotation (plus an old pair for muddy days) just because I would break so many laces. All that said, after wearing the Cincinnati's, I haven't worn my Louisville's and feet feel great. I will say that rotating work boots is the singularly best way to save money and increase there length of service.

Superb boot for the price! I have owned this boot for over a year now, and it still looks and feels brand new! The outsole is one of the toughest and grippiest sole I have ever experienced on a boot, let alone any shoe. I have used these boots in all weather conditions, including rain storms, snow storms, dust/dirt/soil regions, and more, and they grip amazingly. The lugs are deep and rugged, they will not rip, nor will they slip. An interesting tidbit regarding the sole material: when I step in water and then lift my boot up and step on dry ground...the sole is completely dry and grips the dry floor like I was never in water. I can literally walk through puddles and then walk through my house with the boots on and no water will be deposited on my house floor. I don't know what the exact sole material composition is on these, but Keen definitely got it right. The sole shank is spectacular as well! When I'm standing on ladders doing work, I only feel my feet resting comfortably in the boot, and I never feel the ladder steps digging into my feet, so the shanks are working exactly as designed, taking the load off of my arches. The boots have a naturally wide toe box, so if you have wide feet, you may not even need a wide size. The arch support is moderate, but once you wear them in, like any good leather, they form to your body type and the leather softens up, which sort of lowers the arch support. It's not a negative, but something to be aware of, as I recommend buying an insole with a more solid arch support when the factory one wears out. The laces are tough and feel impossible to rip, and they don't shred on the metal rungs near the top. The boots are also comfortable with ankle socks because the soft and supply leather padding at the top cushions your ankles and legs. They also definitely are waterproof as I have walked with them through deep snow and some nasty puddles through various storms, and my feet never got wet. The boots are extremely comfortable, but they are very heavy because these are legitimate work boots that are built to keep you safe, so know that going in if you purchase them. The tongue is gusseted, but it doesn't bother you like some other brands do, it's very comfy, padded, and out of the way. The inside of the boot is very plush, so if you have sensitive feet, you'll enjoy that. Do note that the boots fit like traditional boots in that the heel to toe drop is noticeable, and that combined with the arch support sort of stretches your plantar fascia out a bit, but this is good in the long term because it keeps your feet flexible and nimble. However, if you have a tight plantar fascia or your feet aren't in good shape, this may or may not bother you at first. After wearing them for about two weeks, this goes away and your feet feel fantastic, so it could also just be part of the break in process for new, tough boots. Lastly, the toe box is wide and pretty tall, but not the tallest, so if you have toes on the bigger side, keep that in mind. The leather around the toe box is very tough, so it will be a while before it breaks in and becomes looser, which may cause some discomfort during the break in process for some folks. Overall, the positives of these boots more than outweigh the negatives, and I give these a 5-Star rating across the board, so they're a definite buy recommendation from me!
