Because my left foot is slightly bigger than the right, I wear and ordered a pair of 9.5 medium size. After receiveing and slipping these Catalyst Suede's on I felt they were the right length and proper width. When taking a few steps across the living room I notice my heel easily lifted up on each step of both feet. I readjusted and tightened down the laces thinking that might resolve the issue. BUT NO, there is an inherent design flaw in the heel cup with these shoes. Unfortunate that this is the second pair of different Merrells I've had to send back in a month.

Poorly made shoe. Do not buy. Literally broke the first time i tried to lace them up. One of the little rope shoe lace eyelets ripped out literally the first time i tried them on. I didn’t even tie them right.

After a week of wearing these, and probably 30 miles walked in them around Prospect Park with my dog, I have to say I really love these shoes. They're stylish and comfortable. The rubber lining around the bottom protects against puddles, and trail dirt and mud clean off very easily. I find I never want to take them off. I will definitely buy another pair, when the time comes.

I find these shoes to fit very well. The size runs as advertised (I’m a 10.5 and they are perfect) so they don’t run “long” like some say. I also don’t find them narrow. A great fit, comfortable out of the box, and they look great. I want the mid-top version, too!

These sneakers run a little long while being some what on the narrow side. Quality materials and solid build, had to return my 1st pair and order half a size down for a better fit.

I wear a 7 1/2 wide Woman’s and ordered a 7 men’s. Fit fine right out of the box. No break-in needed. Only issue is that the foot bed is very firm with very little if any heel cushioning. Could be fixed with an insole if needed. Otherwise great service and quality from Zappos.

Probably the most comfortable shoes I've ever purchased! I had major back surgery last January and try to walk 3 miles a day and have been searching for a really comfortable. These shoes make me feel like I can walk all day long! Great product Merrell!

These are unquestionably among the most comfortable shoes I’ve ever worn. They are true to size but snug - form fitting. Like the proverbial glove. Great heal cup. Good arch. They’re lightweight. And they have a firm supporting step with a flat, balanced sole. They’re warm in winter without bright sweaty indoors. I wear a 10.5 M and they’re a perfect fit. They seem struts, too. With a reinforced toe, a little like their competitor. But a little less clunky. I like the look. A little funky but not weird.
