My daughter is a skinny 5 year old who wears a size 12 shoe from other brands (Carters, Target, OshKosh, etc.). I usually have to purchase a size down for sandals, but based on other reviews I went with a 12 and it's perfect. The back strap adjustment is a pleasant surprise. I find that her feet don't sweat as much and her soles don't get sore from walking all day. I definitely recommend these sandals for active kids. They are pretty pricey, though, but I think it's worth it. Too bad her day camp won't accept open-toed sandals. Would love to see a closed-toe version of this in the future.

I bought these for my 4 year old after she kept slipping in a different brand/style of sandal. These are great! The adjustable straps provide a secure fit and the tread provides great traction. She has worn these camping, to the pool, trips to the park, and everyday trips out. I'm so glad I found these, and I'll repurchase next summer!

My 9-year old really like these. Easy to adjust and comfortable. Wears them in the river and are relatively quick to dry.

Bought a pair for my child, who can be finicky about shoes/sandals. My kid tried them on and was pleasantly surprised by the colours and the fit. Needless to say, I'll likely be buying these again next year!

Great quality, super comfy according to kiddo. He wears it to school at least a few times a week. Said he can run very quickly with it. Plus, it doesn't make him fall like Crocs which does not fit toddler feet well at all.

I would definitely buy these if you had them in women's sizes. I think they would be popular in olive green, khaki, navy, brown, & black. They look like they would be comfortable with good support.

As always, a great pair of sandals from Merrell. My 6 year old loves these. We have taken them to India. Perfect for the warm weather, yet with enough foot support for him to be on the move all the time.

My son is five and he's hard on his shoes. It was great to find a supportive sandal that can take 5-year-old level wear and tear.

My daughter runs around barefoot if she doesn't have a comfortable sandal, and this was exactly what she needed. It's cute (high on her priority list), sturdy for playing (high on my list), and seems to holds up to water. It's also easy to clean!
