I almost kept these; I really did! They're adorable on and ALMOST perfectly comfortable. Great support, cushy wearing experience. The straps over the top are nice and soft BUT did hit my pinky toe "just so." I decided it wasn't worth the risk of keeping them, since I'm buying these to walk around Disney World, etc. for four days. They do also slap your heels when you walk, which I would've put up with, I suppose, if they had fit perfectly. Unfortunately for me, they just missed the mark. I will end up keeping the very similar Clarks Arla Jacory which have the same comfortable footbed without the straps rubbing my toes.

These sandals are perfect. The size and width (8 1/2 Medium) is spot on. I bought them in red and I’m very pleased with the color. It’s a beautiful cherry red. They are feminine, comfortable and very summery. An excellent purchase.

This Clarks Arla Belle is very comfortable, except when I walk, as it is so soft and the fabric stretches/moves, making me feel like I could slide off on one side or another. If I were just seated at work or standing around at a party, it would be great, but not to go shopping or tour a museum, etc. when I did much walking. I liked the look of it on better than I did from the picture.

I had to return these shoes not because of size, style, or fit, but because they had an extremely offensive odor to the point we could not stand them sitting out of the box. It almost had a kerosene smell. I had this style Clark shoes last year and didn't have an issue with them. Don't know what the problem was but had to send them back. These shoes were my favorite pair of shoes last year, so that's why I ordered a new pair for this year. Will have to try another pair somewhere else where I can buy in person.

I liked these Clarks so much I ordered a second pair in a different color, and then reality sank in. These are adorable, lightweight, pretty and feminine shoes. I love the cloth uppers and the light comfy soles. I wear 12N. The shoes only come in medium and wide, unfortunately. The back fastens with Velcro. Maybe because my foot is not wide at the back, the Velcro doesn’t “hold”. When I did a test sprint in the living room, the back unfastened. I don’t want to be running for a bus and the sandal flies off. Too bad- I really like their design, weight and materials.

i have a pair similar style (Arla Jacory i think?) from last year, and although those look a bit more stylish, the straps were digging in to the top of my feet. i thought the textile straps on this newer model might be more comfortable and indeed, they do seem to be. but something about the bottom sole seems more cheapo—lighter, but harder material and surprisingly slippery on my wood floors. hopefully walking on pavement will scuff the bottoms enough to make them less slippery. this 8W is also smaller than last year, but that is acceptable since i'm closer to a 7 ½ anyway and last year's 8W was slightly too big (but gave some allowance for inevitable summer foot swelling). these sandals might be too tight for someone with a true 8 wide foot

correction: i posted previously that the 8W might feel too small for someone with a size 8 foot. however, after just a few weeks of light indoor wear, the fabric has stretched out. there's barely enough velcro on the back strap to keep them on my foot now, so i think these would be fine for a true size 8. (i shouldn't have sized up since i'm closer to a 7.5.) for everyone who found this sandal too narrow, i definitely recommend ordering the W width, as it is more comfortable (even though it also looks more matronly). just don't size up if you order the W

I bought these to replace worn out very comfy Arla Primrose sandals that I love. These new Arlas look similar but feel unstable on my feet. Just not comfy so must return. Please bring the Arla Primrose back!

I bought these last year- and refreshed my summer shoe wardrobe with a new gray and a black pair- truly these sandals make me feel like I'm walking on a cloud! They are soft as they hug my foot, they are adjustable, and although they do have some support, I don't even feel like I'm wearing shoes! I'm so happy that they are available this year, too!! They are simply designed , with support in the right places,, and they go with every comfortable summer outfit- I've never had such a comfy sandal.
