This is one of the best boots I've bought. Very comfortable right out of the box. I wear them to work standing and walking for most of the 12 hour day and my feet feel great when I get home. I really like the green color and contrasting orange shoelaces. Would have preferred a little shorter length of the laces, but I manage. Thanks Merrell for all the wonderful shoes and boots I've purchased from you. They all have a specific purpose when I wear them and look forward to seeing your other products as they come out. Fit great immediately and didn't require any break in period. Love these boots

i like the wide toe box it has... doesnt crunch my toes and is quite comfy

Normally I'm take 8-1/2 size but 9 is better fit. Good support and comfortable for all day wear. Due to job change I needed a lite weight boot with less aggressive sole, these are perfect. Easy on and off.

Great boot, wish it had a little more in the sole. However, it is so light it makes hiking easy and is very comfortable.

Love the classic hiking boot look. Felt good right out of the box. No breaking in required.

Well made sturdy boots with good support but not as wide as the Mohab ventilators or wide enough for my 4E foot

Wide size shoes are hard to find, these ones fit really well

Super comfortable, stylish, lightweight... I love these boots! But why are the laces so long?? And when I say long, it's annoyingly long. So long that you have nothing else to do but tuck them in to the sides, which isn't much comfort on a hike. And they came with two pairs of laces!! Both huge. It's a shame because the orange lace looks great on the olive shoe. Can I exchange my laces for new ones. Thanks!

These are great fitting boots. Super wide in the toes feels great. Seems like they are sturdy and really like the tread. These don't breath very well but they are leather so didn't expect them to. The inserts they put in are trash and there is no cushion when you walk. This wasn't comfortable for me but swapped out the insert and feels great. I expected better out of theses boots. The worst part of the boots and the only reason I thought about sending them back was the boot lace hooks are in a weird spot and hurt when I tied them almost like they are to far back. I just skipped the lower hook and wrapped the laces around and feels good. Overall I like them and will be keeping and like them well enough

Exactly, what I expected. Very light and comfortable from out of the box. I will give them 5 star later if they last longer then a year.

These where comfortable. I used these in a hanger on a flat surface pretty much there short lived life, the left shoe blow out on the left side along the bottom and up the side of the shoe way disappeared

I have a pair of issued Merrell duty boots in 13 M that fit perfectly. These are the same size, but dont fit the same. I don't think I will be able to wear these even with thick socks. The Moab 2 in 12M was much too tight for me when i ordered those last year. Why don't they all fit the same? This makes 4 pair in the last year, and only one that i can wear. Very dissatisfied.

I have a pair of Merrill's I bought in 2007 that are still going but the end is near. I bought these thinking they would be as good as my old ones. Not even close. Very disappointed in fact.

I was thrilled when I first put these on because they were so light and comfortable which obviously is great, but I soon discovered they were not waterproof as the name so prominently suggests. They are certainly water resistant but after a couple of hours over three days walking in damp grass and a bit of light rain the boots were thoroughly soaked, My socks were damp, and the boots took about two days to dry out. Am I missing something here? am I supposed to be the one that waterproofs them? With the seemingly good reputation of this company I can only assume that the basic waterproofing step was skipped at the factory?

The shoe was comfortable and I was excited for our first hike. My boy and I climbed the mountain behind our house and the shoe blew out on the side where the seam is. I was not happy to see something like that happen on the first time out.
