Great shoe for kayaking.

I wear these shoes at the beach. Sure, sand still gets in, but a lot less than traditional water shoes. Because these shoes lace up and have a tongue, there is minimal chaffing. After coming back from the beach, the inserts easily come out and I can wash the shoe of any residual sand very easily. Great shoe!

These are a nice shoe. Lightweight and feels comfortable for the summer months coming. I've only had them a few days but the construction seems good. I like the gray/green color. Arch support is good but sizing seems to be a bit off. Zappo's recommends a size 9 for me and I don't know where that came from. I wear a 9.5 (42 European). However, when I got the 9.5 it seems just fine width and arch placement. The length was too short as my toes felt to be touching the end. I returned them to Zappos and true to the nature of Zappos, even in these times of tribulation, my replacement pair came quickly. I went up to size 10 and the length is much more comfortable. The arch support is a bit off now. The width of the shoe is bigger than the 9.5. So, the shoes run a bit wide but not a lot. The length, I'd order a 1/2 size larger than your normal size. Unless you don't mind close quarters for your toes. I like a larger toe box. The shoes are comfortable and feel that they will be reliably solid over time.

Had these a few years now and rarely wear them. Toe box is bit cramped, little supprt. I got them to be easy on off , around town shoe.
