My wife loves these shoes. She uses them to workout mostly and says they are one of the most comfortable shoes she has put on.

I own two pairs of these shoes (blue and purple) and would agree that they are about the most comfortable shoe ever. My guess is that they may seem a bit heavier than a very light trail running shoe butso supportive. Never get in the wayalways end with happy feet.

Are use them to walk on the trail for 4 to 5 miles each day. They feel great. They are supportive yet have a lot of cushion.

I'm a nurse who's on my feet 24 hours. this is one of the most comfortable shoes I ever had. It didn't take long to break in. Its cushiony, has some arch support, and true to size.

I have run in montrails for years. They just are a great no nonsense trail shoe. Like other reviews, I did end up keeping a 7.5 instead of a 7 (my usual size). Not much appreciable difference between the two in length, but definitely a big difference in width. The 7 were too narrow. Love love love that the sole is the same blue color, way better than white that looks filthy after a few runs.

I have it in two colors now -mother blue and the fuchsia. I am wearing these in placeof my Merrill Flex which I've essentially worn out. These are so comfortable for light hiking, trail walking and everyday use. Lots of support but still really light.

These shoes are so comfortable (and cute). I hike a short trail several times a week and was tired of wearing out sneakers. These trail shoes have been so durable and comfortable, I've worn them plenty and they have yet to show signs of wear and tear. They fit true to size but I will say that they fit my foot well and I have very narrow feet so these shoes might not work for you if you have wide feet.

These are the only brand of running shoes I have been able to wear.witbout injury for several years now. I went to buy another pair of Montrails and thought they had stopped making them! Found these and they are perfect! Not narrow in the toes like others I have tried (NB used to fit great. Ordered a pair recently and not sure if they were irregular but they cramped my toes badly!) I want to buy a 2nd pair.and apparently Zappos only now has "lite" so I will try.

I have narrow feet and i bought these shoes for hiking, rather than running, as they grip the foot tightly (thanks to the power-mesh sock fit and a secondary lace cage). Thus, when descending the toes don't hit the front part of the shoe. I would be more than happy if, based on this concept, hiking shoes were designed.

These shoes are awesome, my only complaint is that the elastic connecting the tongue of the show to the base makes the middle of the shoe a tight fit when wearing thicker socks.

I bought these shoes for walking and hiking and Montrails have never disappointed me. I've only worn them for 3 to 4 mile walks and so far they have been very comfortable. I am an active 75 year old! Soon I hope to try them for a longer hike. I wear a size 7 shoe, but always get 7 1/2 in sport shoes and they fit just right. I gave them 4 stars instead of 5 because I haven't gone a longer distance yet. They will probably prove to be 5 stars.

Absolutely beautiful shoe, but too narrow. It is very supportive - I like the colors and the attachment of the tongue to the footbed. Sadly will have to send back. I am bummed. Great job designing this great shoe though!
