Why reinvent the wheel??? Please bring back the previous sandal similar to this one without the horribly uncomfortable, stiff, adjustable backstrap, which is also incredibly difficult to adjust. Please bring back the simple original backstrap, as on so many of your other sandals. None of your other sandals fit me correctly. This would have been my third pair of this type of sandal and I had to return it. I hope you will take seriously the many, many reviews that have complained about the backstrap.

The strap at the back cuts into my ankle. I plan to return them. I wish the Venice H2 sandals were still available.

its a little short in the length so order a 1/2 size up. I removed the back strap and wear them as a mule style.

Love the shoe, materials it's made of, and stability. I had to take off the heel strap because it was rubbing blisters. Luckily it was easy to do and the shoe stays on my foot perfectly. My new favorite sandal.

Love your shoes....have worn them for years...unfortunately this style did not fit comfortably in the side of the heel area

Keen used to make a very similar shoe that was the only shoe of any kind I can wear for an extended period because of Achilles tendon and bone spur issues. I used to buy a new pair every two years and it is pretty much the only shoe I ever wear. It appears that they no longer make it, but this one is very similar. I do not like the adjustable back strap, the shoe is more complicated to put on and not as comfortable to my Achilles tendon. Also when I compare to my old shoe ( same size) it is smaller. Why change a shoe that was so perfect?

I love KEEN sandals but not this model. The heel strap rubs against my inner ankle. I ordered these and unfortunately did not see the heel strap was adjustable and has Velcro. Not a fan of Velcro.

This sandal is a great fit (I ordered a half-size up since I have wide feet) but I wish I had read the reviews before ordering because, as others have mentioned, the velcro backstrap is uncomfortable and very difficult to adjust. I thought a break-in period might help but it did not. Very disappointed since I bought these to replace my Keen sandals that finally wore out after many, many years.

Love the shoe but the velcro system is horrible and brings a 5 star shoe down to a 3. I've had mine for 2 years and had to replace the velcro this summer in order to continue to wear them

When it said original footbed, I really expected no break-in period like my other Keens in the past. I had another version of the Ravine a number of years ago so thats my comparison. The footbed is very narrow at the arch and the materials are less forgiving. The rest of the shoe is great EXCEPT the back strap. What were they thinking in the Keen think-tank? 2 stiff Velcro straps that join at the heal??? Still shaking my head trying to figure that one out!

I tried many sandals before settling on the Ravine H2. I'm so happy to have found this sandal! I have a leg-length discrepancy and needed a summer sandal that could accommodate my heel lift. The lift stays comfortably in these shoes during daily wear. I haven't done anything rigorous like hiking in them, and I haven't used them in the water, but for daily use (around the house, running errands, basic walking) they are perfect! I also have arches that need excellent support or I get pain in my knee, hip, and back. With other summer sandals, my knee swells up within half an hour. With the Ravine H2, I have no pain or swelling! It's incredibly liberating to be able to wear sandals in hot weather, instead of having to wear sneakers or shoes in the heat. I also like that the velcro at the back makes these easy to get on and off. I'm so happy with them, I almost bought two pairs so that I could have a back-up in case Keen stops making these sandals that are perfect for my body! My only wish, I think, is that there was more of a color selection. I wound up with a basic gray sandal because it was on sale and I think the only other option was black. Perhaps next season there will be a third color option!

I like that this sandal has a rear entry that opens, not a stretchy place I have to stuff my feet in. More sandals with at least one portion that opens completely.

I love that I can buy your shoes in a wide size, The fit is perfect and comfortable from the get-go.

I love the look of this shoe, probably because it's the closest I've found of yours that is closest to being like the Venice, which has been my all time favorite pair of Keen's. But..........unfortunately they run small, if there was an 11.5 they'd be perfect. I will have to return them. PLEASE come back out with the Venice sandal.

These are super comfy but...the straps at the back are not the greatest design. One foot is larger than the other so this velcro strap is hard to adjust on the smaller foot. I guess one could remove it and use these as a slip on but that was not the reason for.purchasing this. I need a secure hiking shoe. I returned them for a pair of hiking sandals with no removable back strap. These are great for medium width feet. Very comfortable, no break in period required.

The back strap is BAFFLING. I can only wear Keens with an adjustable backstrap and had to stop buying them for years when they discontinued the one hiking/water style with the adjustable backstrap. I'm glad to see adjustable backstraps are back but where is the padding??? Also, why does this need to have 2 layers of Velcro? It makes the strap too thick to be comfortable (padding would help) and makes it more prone to rubbing and also it is very difficult to adjust proper. You designed this for people to be able to remove the backstrap, but few people want that - you already make a backless style. We want an adjustable backstrap that is padded and comfortable with that nice Keen footbed. The backstrap from the Zerraport would be an improvement, that one is at least soft while still being adjustable! Half of the sandals from Teva have a comfortable adjustable padded backstrap, and zero of yours currently do. Teva doesn't have the comfortable footbed like Keen does but you are leaving me with no choice.

I know it should take some time to break in these sandals. But every time I wear them this new version of the sandal almost makes me have a blister on my heels. I really like the old version and it was the only Keen sandal that was wide enough for my feet. I also had to break those in but never came close to having a blister.

The straps in front of the heel, the width between the straps is to narrow. I bought these because they are most similar to the Venice H-2 that I wore many years until they were discontinued. I havent found any similar styles that fit very good they are all to narrow. As I have only worn Keens for many years its very disappointing and Im tired of buying and sending back. Hope your design team will take a look at the foot bed and see whats changed. Im down to my last 2 pairs of Venice H-2.

Good shoe, I wish our local shoe stores carried this style. Only complaint is the Velcro fastener strap at the back is very narrow and very long. The way its designed its hard to shorten the length of the strap. But over all I like it
