I loved Lucy pants and had read that these were the next best thing; am looking for a pair of work out pants that are trouser legs (I am NOT a fan of leggings) and I thought these would fit the bill just like my favorite lLucy pants of old, The cut is just OK but the fabric is way too heavy and warm for texas; it feels like it's made of some sort of rubber..sigh...sure wish they would bring back Lucy!

I travel a lot and look for pants like these (or the older model) that have zippered pockets. They are perfect for keeping things safe. I was really disappointed that this model does not have them. I hope you bring them back. The zippers are hidden so they take nothing away from the style but add a lot to the practical use.

I have faithfully purchased these pants for 10 years, beginning with the Lucy brand and transitioning to North Face when they acquired Lucy. North Face has removed features of these pants that made them incredible for all walks of life, various vocations, and ANY type of weather. Removing the zippers from the pockets: Mistake. Increasing the weight of the fabric: Mistake. Tampering with an already perfect product: BIG MISTAKE. North Face has removed features that made me a loyal customer for a decade. Such a sad state of affairs.

I'm very glad to find this pant. I can dress it up with a blouse and cardigan or down with a loose tee shirt. It's slimming and minimizes my (ahem) excessive areas nicely and comfortably, not too loose and not too tight. It took two tries to get the right length: I'm 5' 4" , 143 pounds and the regular length is good. I plan to buy more of them.

I wish they woulnd't have changed the pants. They were perfect before but now took the zipper out of the pocket so the pants don't lay flat as they did before.

Love these pants! I love that they come in a tall for me and a regular for my mom. These are terrific and you could actually wear them with a blouse and sweater for a non-workout lookgreat for travel but I also hit the treadmill and do TRX and weights in them. Love the full leg too.

I work out everyday and these pants have been amazing for working out,simply walking or anything really! Best thing about them is that i can dress them up and wear them as work pants! Win win- Love it

I have loved this pant for many years, but really wish you would make it in more colors like the charcoal grey and khaki, and in the capri length, which Lucy did before TNF picked up the line.

A bit disappointed, loved the Lucy cut and fabric. These pants are thicker making them less versatile. I could wear the Lucy fabric on coolish summer nights these are way too warn. The cut is bigger and the pockets without the zippers flare. Let the Lucy ladies design the next version!

To all the FAITHFUL LUCY customers I totally agree "WHY CHANGE SOMETHING THAT WORKS ". Change the LUCY INSIGNIA and put your brand "TNF" but, don't change the STYLE.

Deleted the two things that made these pants uniquely awesome. Now they're just another pair of women's pants. Plus you still charge full price for these no longer good enough pants. I've ordered pair after pair over many years. Starting with Lucy. Now I'm back to hunting for the perfect pair of pants

Have a similar pair from a TNF competitor. Prefer TNF as a company so thought I would try these pants. I am a nurse. Hoped to wear them to work. Should have read the other reviews first. Material is nice. Pockets are NOT zip and FLARE. Not flattering. I am 5'4" and these are too short. My waist is small compared to my hips and the waist is way too tight. The pockets alone are why I will be returning these. They flare and look awful and not deep enough to hold my iPhone. Not familiar with the LUCY pant mentioned in so many other reviews but wish I was. Clearly this updated version is not better.

This may be the worst feeling plasticy material ever. Bring back the Lucy pants, please...the old ones could be dressed up or down and wore wonderfully they were not too thin or too thick. They didn't have the odd seam across the rear end (why does anyone think that seams across the rear are ever acceptable they look horrible even on people with perfect bodies) The old ones were perfect. Please change the material back.

I bought a pair of these pants with the hope they would be like the Lucy bottoms, of which I have many. They are not. The pockets do not sit flat. The material is too thick. Please bring back the material and style that Lucy carried - I would buy many.

I have many pairs of the Lucy Everyday pant and a few pairs of the North Face everyday pant that were purchased right after they bought Lucy. I loved the fit and design of that pant and wore them a lot... "everyday" you might say. But over the years they do eventually wear out. When I purchased these I thought they would be the same pants I so loved... the same pants North Face originally sold. But they aren't. They are thicker, heavier. And instead of the zipper close pockets that laid flat and were unobtrusive they have slash pockets that I hate because they won't lay flat and gape open. Net net if you liked the old pant you probably won't like these

I bought these along with the past season style. These were awful, pockets have no zippers and stick out. Past season style is perfect.

The fabric is too thick and the pockets flare out. So sending them back. They are not like the Lucy pant if that is what you are looking for.

Good fit. Material is amazing. Wish they weren't seasonal.

I bought a pair about a year ago and immediately bought another pair. I literally live in them and constantly get compliments on them. they've held up very well as I was them after every wear and they still look brand new. I'm leaving this review only I'm back on the website to order a few pairs for my mom and sister

Gave as a gift and my mom loves them. She wears them constantly. Fits TTS - she always wears a M in TNF and M in these pants fit her great.
