This has become my favorite hat. Normally hats fit me small or very small. This one fits just about perfect. It's a tad big but in a good way. Just big enough to where as a big guy it doesn't give me headaches. Love this hat!

Finally a manufacturer that made a big XXL flexfit hat! For those that are cranial challenged as my myself. Many times a xxl hat is a relabeled xl hat. Not this one. These are big and awesomeness level 100! For those that can easily wear normal xxl hats, this is probably to big for you. For those that find almost every hat to tight look no further. For the love of all things holy, Columbia please make this size hat available in different styles as well (besides mesh back). I will buy every style and probably every color if you do. After the original order I came back and bought all the other colors of this style. I want, dare I say need this in a flexfit closed back hat for fall and winter as well (other than mesh). You already take care of us big and tall guys on clothes. Now do us a solid in the hat game! Thank you so much!!!!

I've searched and searched for a hat that will fit my large head comfortably and I have always been disappointed. I wear a size 8 in wool fitted hats that inevitably shrink. This hat is super comfortable, dare I say a little loose, which is a awesome feeling. It looks great, feels great and you can't beat it for the price. If you're tired of buying hats that don't fit your large head look no further. Now if you could make xxl sunglasses I'd be set. Thanks Columbia!

This hat is nice but does run big. I have a big noggin and it's still a tad big

I wear a 7-3/4" New Era cap and this hat fits even bigger. Yeah, it's a tad loose for me, but I don't mind it. I like how it has a high crown and comes down to my ears. Comfortable and well-made. I have 2 and will buy more in the future.

As others have mentioned, I have a very big head, Size 8 in New Era hats. I honestly can never remember putting on a hat before and thinking, wow, this is a little loose, until I got this hat. That being said, I did the shake test and it never came close to falling off, so for me it's not really a problem.

The XXL was as others stated - more like a. XXL+. I am a legit 7 7/8-8 in a fitted cap. This one has the additional space of 2 fingers,side-side. Moxe qualiry nit had to return.

Most L/XL hats are to tight so I went with this big boy, it drowns my big head. Great color and material.

Hard to find a hat that fits comfortably on my bighead. This hat fits GREST. But the sweat band sucks. You'll ruin this hat in a mi th if you sweat in it. I washed daily but the sweat stained them. My xxl Under Armor hats dont have this problem.

Definitely bigger than you would expect for a 2xl. It just seems like a big gap between an xl and 2xl.

I purchased this hat because the other Columbia hats I've tried that were a O/S or XL did not come close to fitting my head. In a New Era 59/50 fitted hat I wear a size 8 and have to try numerous hats of that size to find one large enough. I figured that this hat would probably fit just right, but like other reviewers have said it was really big. I kept it because it fits over my longer hair because I haven't been able to get my hair cut due to Covid19. But if there would be a strong breeze I'm sure it would blow off and once my hair is cut, I don't think it will fit any longer. It should be labeled an XXXL.

This item has great quality like all Columbia products but it's just the fit. The L/XL hats are a bit too tight for me so I thought the XXL would be perfect. This hat is 3 times as big as the L/XL. Had to send it back

I wear a size 8 fitted hat and this hat still completely swallows my head. First time I have ever bought a hat that was too big. Everything else about it is great though. Just way too big so it has to be returned.

this is a generously sized hat but too big even for my giant cranium. its very tall and would have to sit half wsy over my ears to sit right . i could probably fit a winter hat under this

Called to confirm fitment before purchasing. Sizing is way off. The hat is so big it's not wearable.

I had recently purchased a large/extra large Columbia flex fit hat but it was too small would always slowly slide off my big head which is 24 1/2 inches circumference so I ordered an XL/XXL Columbia flex fit hat and it was HUGE Way too big for my big head so I had to return it

I ordered one online but they send me a big size, it was not the size that I want. when they mean Large, it is widely big....review the sizes carefully.

I have been wearing xxl flex fit hats for years. This hat was manufactured way too big. I have a 7 7/8 head and this goes over my ears. When I tried to return it they wanted me to pay the return shipping for a bad product. Will not be a returning customer
