Water slides right off. It gets tight depending on what I'm wearing underneath. T-shirts no problem, but a sweater on makes it a crowded jacket.

Waterproof is excellent, and yet breazeable, and light.

Great jacket and well made. The color is much lighter than it shows in the photo, though. My husband likes it, but wishes it had more pockets. The quilted inner jacket layer from his other North Face jacket can be worn under the Dryzzle Futurelight jacket also.

Go to rain protection up to heavy rains. Light weight and good fit. Another pocket would help.

Futurelight is an amazing technology. It is much more breathable than gore-tex while being just as waterproof. This jacket is well made, comfortable, and has plenty of pockets to store any handheld item your heart desires to take with you.
My one complaint is that, while it is significantly more breathable than most rain jackets out there (assisted further with pit zips), it still can get stuffy even on a relatively cool day, never wore it on a hot day and I would only imagine I would be pretty sweaty by the time I took it off. A side advantage of this is that it allows you to wear it as a standalone jacket with a regular long sleeve shirt on rainy and windy days when the temperature dipping into the lower 60s.
It also does take a looong time to dry out underneath if moisture gets underneath.
Overall, an excellent jacket that is well worth the price and holds its own against more expensive rain shells out there.

Primary use is for wet weather and or a wind breaker. Previously I was more active and this is a cut for a trim and active individual.

I bought this as a waterproof shell to deal with spring showers. It's a bit thicker than I anticipated but doesn't feel like it traps heat. I've found it to be perfectly waterproof though getting the hood to fit and stay down took a bit of finagling.

Will keep you dry. Breathable but will still feel slightly sticky in humid weather

Does feel a little bit roomy. I got a medium. I'm 5 8 140. I will buy a small next time great rain jacket.

I use the drizzle top and bottom to wear in the snow. Typically a t-shirt and and fleece as a base layer are perfect.
I've also worn in the rain and the water completely sheds off the fabric. These are dry in minutes.

Congratulations on TNF for (finally!) selling size XS items. I usually wear 36s jackets and this jacket fits me reasonably well, though the sleeves are, as usual with TNF, too long, and the lower end is a bit too narrow, which can be a problem if the jacket is too long (as it happens with me, being 5ft 7 in.). Nevertheless, I must insist on congratulating TNF for making size XS available. Nothing to complain about the lightness and the other qualities (waterproof, windshield) of the technology used in the production of this jacket. BTW, I purchased British Khaki: great choice for lovers of sage, olive and taupe Color range.

I am also in accord with the issue of sizing, especially, the lenght for hands. I bought the small size (that is my regular size), yet in terms of fitting it was not satisfactory. I understand that the jacket is designed to be "regular fit" but it (proper sizing) has been an issue for the rainwear jackets from Northface for a while. However, it has been apparent that they are not addressing this issue.
Other than that, the functionality and quality of the construction is quite good.

The fabric is really nice, and the jacket looks good. I would love it, have it had armpit zippers to control the ventilation a little bit more.

Got this as a lightweight waterproof layer, the stretch is great for mobility but it's missing a hanging loop which I didn't think would be a big deal until I wanted to hand the jacket to dry or to secure it to my pack.

Love the fit and finish of this jacket, but I've only owned it one month and there's a 1" "slice" through the exterior of the jacket, into the pocket, and I'm unaware how it happened during normal daily wear. Haven't taken the jacket anywhere "extreme," and don't recall snagging or brushing against anything while wearing this jacket as an exterior layer around home. Unfortunately to sustain a cut already, while not even hiking or adventuring outdoors, is disappointing and sad for the price of this jacket. Great looking, but not resilient, especially at the $200 plus price point.

I used it for a 30 mile hike in the Hoh Rainforest. It kept me dry but started wetting out after two days. The jacket kept on riding up on my back underneath my pack and was extremely annoying to pull back down every quarter mile if not less. Probably not the best thing to use for backpacking.

I really like the TNF Allproof Stretch Jacket! I bought an XL to wear over my L "puffy" in the winter if I needed another layer for rain/snow/sleet protection. From the description I thought the DRYZZLE would be even better for spring/fall/summer showers wear because of the product description, but it is not. It seems like most other light weight rain jackets I've bought. I've returned this one and will buy a L Allproof for rain/rafting during the warmer seasons.

Great jacket for warm weather rain. Extremely packable and light. I love the deep Millerton-ECWS styled covered pockets that you can actually store stuff witiout them falling out. The jacket is very comfortable to wear in warm weather and does seem to be as waterproof as Goretex..it could use heavier duty zippers..
Only time will tell if Futurelight is as durable as my Goretex jackets. This a great jacket for layering a sweater or a lightweight puffy. . No lining or interior pockets.

TNF Dryzzle Futurelight jacket seems very promising but it just isn't there yet. As other reviewers have mentioned, the sizing runs large and the design of the jacket can be improved upon. I normally wear a size small with TNF and other brands, but even the XS I ordered was a bit big and baggy. The sleeves are too long as well. In addition, the front part of the jacket is too bulky. There is always a crease that sticks out of your body whenever you bend over slightly. Maybe it's due to the front length of the jacket being the same as the back length, not sure.
Other than the sizing and design of the jacket, the technology in the Futurelight fabric works very well as a breathable, waterproof, and windproof shell that is versatile for the city and outdoor use. I hope the 2020/2021 design can be improved upon based on everyone's feedback.
