As a runner I highly recommend this shoe. The feel and comfort is perfect for daily runs. I just might buy another pair !!! I'm hooked.

I have to start training for my next long distance race and this running shoes are the best.

I'm a power walker - 60 miles a week. Just got these and they are by far the most comfortable walking shoes that I've ever experienced. Lightweight, nice bounce and ventilation. What's really remarkable, is my feet are not tired immediately after the walk. I've been accustomed to changing shoes pretty quickly to relax my feet, so this has been an added bonus. Awesome product that replaced many pairs of 1340's. Gotta love the new technology.

I'm 5'10, 235 lbs. needless to say, I'm new to running. I've tried all different kind of running shoes. They all made my knees and ankles sore the next morning after a run. I bought these V10s on a whim in the mall a week ago and am 4 runs in, and I can't say enough good things. My knees and ankles feel great and they are SO comfortable on the pavement. 11/10 would recommend. Will be buying 2-3 more pair Incase they are discontinued.

Replaced my 2 yr old 1080s with these. What a difference. Fresh foam provides great cushioning and comfort. My arthritic back and knees bother me much less since I have been wearing these for my daily 4-5 miles of walking on pavement. And as always, I appreciate the ability to select a wider width.

I'm 6' 205 pounds and just starting to jog again after a surgery last year. I'm very particular and have been on the hunt for some good running shoes for a long time now. I actually returned two pairs of shoes previous to this because I did not like them. These shoes are amazing! They are have a nice bounce and energy return whether I'm walking or jogging. I can't wait to get home to put them on so I can go for a walk around the block. The only negative thing I can say about them is that when I'm walking due to the heel cup every once in a while but not often small debris will get in but when I'm jogging I don't experience this at all. If you're in the market for some good shoes I would say these are them!

Like the headline says, if you like a very firm sole, these aren't for you. But if you like some give and a spongy feel, you'll love these shoes. I've had for around two weeks and would definitely buy again.

I found this shoe at my local New Balance store last December. I have logged 350 miles on them so far over the past 5 months. I thought my previous New Balance shoes were great before these, but my new 1080's blow every shoe I've ever worn out of the water. I occasionally wear my older New Balance shoes on my golf course runs when I don't want to get my 1080's all grassy, and what a difference. I'm 5'8" and 165 lbs and I need as much cushion as I can get, especially when I have to run on concrete. These 1080's have surpassed my wildest dreams in that department. And the bounce back is great. It saves me energy and allows me to run longer. I set two PR's this winter in my half marathon races (1:36 ) wearing my 1080's. I hadn't done that in 10 years ! I have 3 herniated discs in my lower back and half marathon training really puts a lot of pressure on them, and most days I run with sciatica leg and hip pain. These shoes have really helped me out...along with my newly acquired Teeter. I will soon be ordering another pair of these in a different color (just to be more fun). I have the red ones currently. I can't say enough good things about these shoes. Thank you New Balance ! They have really helped me out physically as well as allowed me to get a couple PR's. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for maximum cushioning while saving maximum weight. And they are as comfortable as they are cushioned. They are more snug in the toe box than my other more roomy New Balance shoes, but the material stretches, so it's not an issue. Buy these shoes as soon as you can. But, be sure to leave me a pair : )

I am running everyday with this shoe. I run anywhere from 2.5 to 4 miles a day with this shoe. Very comfortable. The material stretches around my foot to create a comfortable snug feeling. The cushion sole is fantastic. I am thinking of buying another pair for exercise at the gym. The cross trainers I have for the gym are good but these shoes are the best. Both shoes are New Balance.

After months of recovery from a knee injury I was able to run again with these shoes! Extremely comfortable! Not crazy about the style, but worth all the benefits from them.

I bought these to use for my recovery runs but ended up becoming my daily trainers. After just a few runs in them my legs fell in love. Feels like i'm running on a cloud, highly recommend - you won't be disappointed.

I started running again a month ago and my knees/chin/calves were killing me after every run , made a reserch and i bump into this product , waoooooooo i feel like running in the air with this sneakers and no pain after running , i'm 6'0/235lbs , i got the wide version , this product is just perfect !!!! NB have a new fan due to this fantastic design overall this product should be 10's

I purchase this shoe for my son after purchasing my 1080's. He currently stands on his feet all day and this shoe seem to be the one for him. He has not taken them off....he loves them. He say that the shoe has minimize his back/foot pain and that they are great for running on concrete also.

This 1080 is working as well for me as several previous versions have over the years--light weight, good fit, improved cushioning. And great color choices! (the really important factor).

I have been wearing New Balance 1080s since v2. These are the best, most comfortable pair yet. With previous versions, I was using NB insoles, but with this pair I haven't needed to. They are light and comfortable, with plenty of support. I will definitely keep buying the 1080 line of shoes.
