I hike in Michigan during the raining season, as well as outdoor events while the temperature is still warm out, these keep me dry and cool!

Got to use these in a kayaking trip in Vancouver island and they were amazing! Kept me perfectly warm and dry. I especially love the button cuff at the bottom, it allowed me to keep all of the water out of my boots!

The pants a little bit heavier than expected. I would wear more so during winter. The length is great, and the fabric is durable. I would add draw string as the waist may not fit all general sizes.

Sometimes I have to walk in the rain and my Wind breaker works great but my pants were soaked now anymore.

i purchased these pants to wear on cold days when playing golf. I did have a chance to use them and they were exactly what i wanted. they cut the wind and kept me warm, and the full zip legs allowed for great venting when needed. I would recommend these pants as that extra layer when you need it.

Awesome pants. Looks great and feels good, not too thin and not too thick. A very versatile pants for quick access to legs with the length sized zipper and the water wick technology is a plus. The only 2 down side is they should've added side pockets instead of just one back one, would've been the perfect hike pants. The other down side but maybe not too bad is they also should've added the belt just like the half zip ones.

Giving four stars because I haven't actually used them in the rain yet, but I have a lot of North Face gear so I'm certain they will be as waterproof as they say. I'm not giving five stars because like many other reviewers have said, I wish they had belt loops because they do seem as though they will sag down as worn. For $189 I would really like to see a belt system like you put in the $70 Paramount pants (which I have several pair ofmy Go To pants). That belt system is great and you can cinch the pants tight. So anyway, like the look and feel and I'm sure they perform as advertised, but I want a belt.

I could give this product a 5 out of 5, except for what I use them for. I would prefer a waterproof tapered leg running pant for rainy conditions. The North Face doesn't really seem to offer this, so I bought these. I like the full zip sides to be able to take off and out on while shoes are already on, but it isn't necessary.
