The boots felt too big overall even though the length of boot was pretty close to a size 8. I am a 7.5 in most shoes/ boots but sized up to an 8 in these boots since there are no half sizes. There were no reviews yet I just guessed at correct size. I really loved the style, the boots looked great on but even with slim orthotics I felt my foot moved around too much while wearing them. My feet are on the narrow side so may feel different to someone with medium width.

Purchased these after returning a similar rain boot from a different brand that were a little too snug. These fit, but are very roomy which is okay because I can were thick socks and they won't be too snug like the other brand. I also purchased the Hunter sheepskin insoles and they fit perfect inside this brand and there's still roomy enough for me to wear thick socks to add comfort because I don't like my feet to get cold.

Returning... the heel is hollow and makes a bubble-wrap popping noise with every step. I dont see this shoe lasting more than a handful of walks around the city.

The fit is comfortable and designed to allow for heavier socks in cold conditions. It does just fine with standard socks however. There is no arch support which is not a problem for me, but I suspect that an orthotic could be inserted if necessary.

I liked the boot. It was just too big and I think the next size down would be too small.

Comfy I wear them every rainy day

This boot is stylish and comfortable. The fit is intended to allow for the use of heavier socks to provide warmth but wears well even with a lighter weight sock. There is no arch support but I think you could insert an orthotic if necessary. I don't need the support so I have not actually tried this.

I wanted to love this shoe because it looks cute, but this is my second time returning it. I thought my first was defective because it felt so unstable and the tag at the back broke off the first time I tried to put it on. But the second one I ordered was just as unstable so I think the boot is just poorly/cheaply made.

These are very stylish. My daughter got tons of compliments on the looks. Unfortunately they fell apart pretty quickly! Zappos was great about sending out a new pair, but that too fell apart in the same way, and Zappos refunded our money. FIVE STARS to Zappos customer service! I’ve attached some photos so you can see. We would not recommend these.

I finally wore these today to work, and decided to try wearing them all day. I work in an office so I don't walk a lot, but I do have to get up frequently and walk a decent distance - they were comfortable all day with very slight rubbing on my small toes. I have wide feet so I was concerned they would be too narrow, but I felt like they were true to size, and even with a little extra room so I can potentially wear them with heavier socks in colder weather. Overall I'm happy with the purchase so far. I love the style and bought them as a trial run to see if I would like chelsea leather boots in the future. I'm not ready to spend the money on those yet, so I'll enjoy these in the meantime.

The fit is perfect. The toe on this one doesn’t make your foot look long like a ski like the madewell version (which I returned). It’s extremely comfortable and unlike the previous reviewer I didn’t notice a hallow heel. I’ve walked all over the city (Atlanta) in these without a Comfort or durability problem. They look great with any color jean and I’ve definitely gotten so much use out of them. Perfect pair of boots for a rainy day without the clunkiness of a full sized wellie.

Very cute and comfy rain shoes. They dont have much support but I just used my arch supports in the shoes and they are perfect.

The person who recommended purchasing these with the Hunter sheepskin insoles was *right* on the mark, and that's exactly what I did. Had I not purchased the insoles, I likely would've returned the boots because they run a bit large and roomy on the inside. I am usually an 8.5-9 and I ordered an 8 and it's still rather large. Large enough for comfy sheepskin insoles and warm, thick socks. These have become my daily wear.

This boot is super cute and definitely rainproof, but the rubber cracked around the ball of the foot after just 6 months. I loved the way the boots looked but want something more durable, so didn't buy another pair. The heel did make a popping sound (as in another review) but it wasn't too noticable.

I am a size 7.5 so I ordered a 7 and an 8. The 7 was way too small, and the 8 was way too large, causing my foot to slip out when I walked around, even with thick socks on. The heel is also hollow and made a popping noise when I was walking, which suggest bad quality. I would have ordered another pair if half sizes were available because they're so cute! I recommend trying another brand if you're in between sizes.

Wanted to love these - they're cute and comfortable - but the opening at the top was SO wide. I have pretty big feet (women's 10) but it was easily double what I needed to get my foot in. There's no way they would have kept my feet dry in the rain, it would all just run down into my ankles!
