Beautiful and comfortable! The ankle contour and longer than typical shaft height make it very flattering. Agree that these run slightly wider than many styles from this brand. Having that information lead me to try this boot and I am very happy I did. Fits my medium wide foot very comfortably. Zero break in time required. The leather is high quality. My only gripe is that the pull for the boot is too small to be useful and therefore getting the boots on takes more effort than expected for a chelsea style. For someone with arthritis or weak grip strength I think it would be frustrating to try to get these on.

Comfortable boot. Agree with other reviewers that width fits generously. That is what made me try the boot and I am happy I did. Considering a second pair.

This shoe seems to run a full size large. I usually take a 6.5 and finally the 5.5 sort of fit. There is no size 5 that I can find anywhere. I still need to get insoles to take up some of the room in the shoe. But it will make it suitable for warm socks so I may end up using them mostly used for colder weather. That said, it is a pretty good looking Chelsea boot. Toe is not too round and the shoe, while not slim looking, is also not wide too wide looking. The "weatherproof" feature is one of the main reasons I buy Aquatalia.

These were big and clunky

These are nice-looking boots, but I've never run into sizing problems like this before. Usually a 7 in this brand fits me perfectly; this time, I went to a 6, and it was still too big. I'm not going to bother with a 5.5, it's too much effort. This seems like a manufacturer's error (which is consistent across sizes, for this style only). Frustrating.
