I ordered the SOREL Kinetic™ Sandal in black. I've been desperately searching for comfortable summer sandals. I love the SOREL brand and the style of these shoes. They are different than anything else on the market, which appealed to me. I also need the support and stability the sole gives as I walk everywhere in midtown Atlanta. I wear an 8.5 M and these sandals are true to size. Upon trying on and walking around my home, I realized the strap across the toes has 0 give. It is a stiff leather strap with absolutely no stretch. I almost returned, as I had concerns that wearing them around Atlanta was going to be uncomfortable. Turns out, I was correct. Today, I walked to a market .5 miles from my home and by the time I returned home, I could not wait to get these off my feet. Beyond uncomfortable. I've got blisters on both pinky toes and the toe next to it. I literally just ordered moleskin from Amazon to see if I can rid myself of the friction caused by the toe strap. It is not going to be easy to place moleskin on the underside of a strap with no adjustability. Ankle strap didn't bother me in the least, but it is adjustable. Should have gone with my initial gut feeling. At this price point, my experience with this sandal is extremely disappointing. To end on a positive - Zappos has AMAZING customer service and fast shipping. I order everything from Zappos!

Amazing. Soft leather over the toes, adjustable nylon around the ankle. Supportive, fun and feels like you’re walking on clouds! I LOVE them!

I love these ugly yet cute sandals! The white with color accents is adorable and I have gotten tons of compliments on them. They are definitely fashion forward. Very comfortable. The leather back has yet to irritate my sensitive heels. My feet are extra wide and these fit me pretty well yet they are a bit snug in the front leather strap by the toes. I think with a few more wears they will be perfect. I highly recommend these shoes and cannot wait to wear them on vacation. Get them!!!

Another reviewer said these sandals feel like "walking on clouds" and they are absolutely right! Very fashion forward sandal and incredibly comfortable right out of the box. I love the colorway I ordered and the bit of height they add. I ordered my usual size and they fit perfectly.

I love these chunky heeled sandals, but I should have ordered 1/2 size smaller. But they are still wearable. I do notice that the placement of the velcro on the straps could be adjusted and I will likely "jerry rig" this myself at some point by adding to the velcor. Very little of the velcro actualy grabs on the the (Male/female attachment) were the velcro is currently placed and I did have an incident where the strap came unattached as only about 1/2 in was making the connection. Also, note there is not real arch support, but there is plenty of support for me, if that makes sense. This is a solid and yet flexible sandal and is comfortable for my foot.

These sandals are SO cute and SO comfortable. I usually wear 8&1/2 so that's what I ordered and they fit perfectly. I would definitely recommend them.

Get ready for one fun stompy summer! These are the most radical pair of sandals I ever owned. As a classy lady in my 30’s, I want to wear something that screams style, yet keeps my gait steady as I re-explore my favorite party city on foot. These sandals are so comfortable and sporty, yet have that overall “wedge” silhouette. Unlike all the flatforms I tried, these are flexible and cushiony. I can wear these with a demure dress for an unexpected fun accent, or with a more casual denim getup. I know a lot of sandal-makers run their sandals large, so women have to buy a size or half-size smaller. Not Sorrel! These are true to size. I usually wear 7.5, sometimes 7 in pumps and 8 in running shoes. The 7.5 sandal fits perfectly. My right foot is smaller- about a 7, but the narrow toe and offset trapezoid heel is forgiving to slightly asymmetric proportions. Overall, could not be happier with a sandal! Stylish, fun, sporty, p’zazzy, and oh-so-comfortable!

These are super cute and comfortable!! I am a size 7 and the 7 is a perfect fit.

These sandals are very cute! I could see them going with many outfits. UNfortunately for me, I have a wide toe area (bunion) which makes this style too narrow. I have to return them.

First of all, this aqua blue is stunning in person. The sandals seem very well made. I'm a narrow footed gal, however, so these did not work for me. I purchased both a 6 and 6 1/2 since most shoes are made wider these days (believe me, I sold shoes for 10 year). The 6 in this was too short, AND the front band was still too wide - with the front of my foot slipping forward. The 6 1/2 were just a no go. If you have wider feet and thicker ankles these will work for you. The other item that really concerned me was the bottom of the shoe. I felt like these are a tripping hazard with the uneven sole. But again - a great looking shoe and well made if you can wear them! They get a "10" for quality and design. And for you high-arched ladies, there is no arch support in these. :(

OMG! PERFECT FOR ME! I RARELY find a pair of shoes that fit. I am size 10-11, slightly narrow, long toes (which make me believe I would be a normal 9 if my toes weren't so long. In a 10 these shoes fit like a glove. The wide soles help me balance and although I haven't worn them yet because it's 30° outside, they are so cute and I'm sure they will look great with a dress, skirt, jeans, leggings, shorts or anything but very dressy clothing. AND they are soooo cute. I got them in the white and the gray and I'm on the waiting list for black and I'm thinking about the snake print.

These are so striking. A cross between a functional sporty sandal and an artsy shoe. The would be just about perfect if the Velcro went only a centimeter further down the shoe! I have a narrow foot and that leaves me needed to strap it tightly. This doesn’t give much contact for the Velcro to adhere which means it’s not as secure as it could be!

Fell in love at first sight with the chunky tread and sophisticated colors and immediately ordered the white/grey combo, but sadly had to return. I'm a true 7 and unlike most Sorels this felt true to size in the length. However, I have a wider foot and a very high arch and it was too tight in the front band with not enough support. It's like the arch hits in the wrong place. Also there's no "give" in the straps.

These were really cute. I have small feet and the buckle and the toe part were just too loose. The buckle/strap doesn’t tighten more than the picture shows so they weren’t really adjustable. A total bummer because they were pretty comfortable and really cute. I had to return :(

I have the most obnoxiously sensitive feet, as in no matter the style, material, brand, etc my feet will find a way to hurt or blister. These sandals are comfortable right out of the box, extremely stable and flattering on the foot. They are both a little funky, a little chunky yet somehow look just right. That being said, just wearing them around the house I know 2 things; the stability will allow me to wear them through the airports on an upcoming trip and, I will be carrying blister bandaids in case the little pressure points I’m feeling become issues. Fingers crossed it’s just past experience induced paranoia. I have a medium to narrow foot and can wear a size 8.5 or 9 depending on the shoes. Size 8.5 was perfect. There’s a quality issue with the ankle strap; the Velcro is too short; if I had to tighten the strap any more, there wouldn’t be enough to keep the strap closed. Luckily, that is not impacting my wearing of these fun shoes right now.

I'm usually a size 6, so I ordered both 6 and 5.5. The 5.5 fits perfectly! So stylish! Can't wait for summer!

I have wide feet and chunky legs and somehow these shoes made them both look good! Dainty shoes just don’t fly with me ?. Very comfortable and would look good with shorts or a casual dress. Very pleased!

these sandals are truly awesome! i tested out both the sea salt and the black colorways. i settled on the black for keeps, because i love the high contrast of the sole and the straps. these sandals look like something from a comic book and make me feel like i have super powers. they do not push over into "costume" realm though. i might be a superhero when i wear them, but i do not look like i belong in a cartoon. i just look awesome. they are very comfortable. the soles are basically sneakers, so lots of cushion there. the straps around the ankle are adjustable, but not the toe straps. back on the looks for one last point: i especially appreciate the chunky, exaggerated sole contrasted with the simple straps. and the pop of color on the side of the sole is just right. one side note: when i was researching these sandals, i noticed a lot of pics online of the seasalt colorway where the colors were really amplified. zappos did a good job displaying the colors, without over saturating them.

I have several pairs of Sorel shoes and boots because I find them very comfortable and the style is often unique. I bought these in black and white, I liked them so much. They are a comfortable, sporty sandal that goes well with variety of styles (they look fun with jogger pants or skinny jeans and just as cute with a casual dress or wide-leg pant). I normally wear a 9.5W but bought these in a 10 and they fit very well. I have yet to walk around in them for hours, but around my house they are comfortable and I'm confident that once the world re-opens, these sandals will be my go-to for summer exploring. As an aside, I also bought the Michale Kors "Irma" sandal - which were comfortable and fun, but looked "heavier" and more casual than the Sorel, so I returned them and kept the Sorel.

I admired the styling and initial comfort of this shoe. The front strap was a little tight- a bit of stretching at the shoe repair would solve this. The sole was narrow in the front and had a hard, rigid edge that pressed right into the joint of my little toe. It the insole was made of a softer material it might have been OK. I had to return them

SO comfortable! BUT I wish the ankle strap was an extra 1/2 inch longer. That is the only reason I am returning them.
