I gave this shoe to my husband for his birthday. Fit true to size. He loves the breathe ability of the mesh, and says the foot bed is extremely comfortable. The light aluminum/chromatic yellow is so good looking.

Comfortable fit. True to size. Happy with these New Balance Fresh Foams.

I ordered my normal sizes(12 4E) and the left shoe felt too snug which was odd since my right foot is the larger. I then ordered a size larger, a 13 4E, and those were too long. A half size might have done the trick but I'm unsure whether the snugness issue on my left foot would have been better. The shoe itself was not really tested what with the fit concerns. Zappos's service and response time continue to just amaze me.

I would not recommend these shoes to anyone. I have had them less than a month and they already have a hole on the inside heel area of the shoe. I take very good care of my shoes. My last pair of running shoes lasted almost 2 years. I only wear them to run 6 miles a day, but in less than 30 days they are not usable now. There is a pointy firm part of the shoe on the outer heel. That point puts pressure on your heel and that is what created the hole on the side material (see 1st pic). The hole started small, but after a week it's the current size (see 2nd pic). The shoe now causes a blister on my back heel and makes the shoe unusable.

My husband has a very hard to fit foot short and wide. These shoes are fantastic. He says most comfortable shoes he now owns.

First bought the medium width, which was too narrow. Then bought the wide width which was just right.

Feels good. Good value. Needs supplemental arch support.

Theses are very lite, I mean lite. Took a little bit to get used to because its like the top of the shoes isn’t there. Love it.

New Balance has a hit on their hands with the Fresh Foam. These shoes are remarkably light despite being sz. 14 extra wide, nicely cushioned, attractive. Love the laces which stay tied nicely and look great on these shoes.

I've got slightly wide feet, so "regular" running shoes just don't work for me. I went through a few tests with UnderArmour, but the shoes, regardless of size, were just not wide enough. These shoes fit my perfectly. Snug-comfort and decent support for me arch. I'm not terribly active, but these shoes are comfortable to walk in. I can also wear them all day without getting any pain in my toes or arches.

Support seems a little stiff but fit is good.

Right foot shoe seems too narrow, my large toe feels discomfort after wearing them a couple hours. Great design however.

Yikes! Placed one foot inside and the toebox felt as the toes were being squeezed! Not sure what's happened to NB but I knew from past experiences not to try the brand again. I wear a 4E and the toebox felt as if a regular width. SO thankful to Zappos and their excellent service. I've had to return a few shoes in the past as well and the process is so efficient. A brick and mortar store can't compare.

I sent the size 10 back for a 10.5 but it's still a bit tight. The toe box is shallow so my toes are crammed.

I’m beginning to think that the Fresh Foam line simply runs narrow. We ordered my husband’s normal shoe size (13 4E) and they were significantly too narrow.

Fit was a bit tight. Most disappointed in how quickly the sole is deteriorating. I walk on hard surfaces and the bottom has been eroding since my first 5 miles. Won’t last long and I won’t buy again.

Bottoms were stiff - not enough bounce or cushion. Also, very poor lateral support.

Shoes cause pain on my outer sole.

I have several issues with these shoes: Build quality is ok and they look good, but I don't care for the Hoka style "rocker" sole which makes walking motions unnatural for me. In every other NB shoe I've bought over the years an 11.5 4E is a perfect fit...however these are WAY narrow, to the point where the ball of my foot hangs over the side of the footbed. This, combined with the fact that the mesh uppers have no sidewall support where they connect to the sole means my feet are pushing the mesh outward and constantly trying to slide over the side--definitely not safe or stable! I can see why they were on sale. Sorry I wasted my coupon on these...I am returning.
