Finding wide shoes for softball is difficult. Never with Hoka!
I have bought many Clifton's over the years & very happy to find these shoes to use and replace with the same for years to come as I play year-round and will be continually ordering. Keep making these shoes!!!

Wow, I say wow! The Speedgoat 4 is a great shoe to run in. It is also a great shoe to hike in. The lugs on the bottom offer great traction. The soles offer great cushion that the jolts from the terrain are absorbed thus making it easy on the joints. Primarily the knees. The pair I have is made with waterproof material. I wore them in rain and walked through mud and they held up. I think the trail runner Speedgoat shoe will be my go to shoe now. They are a tiny bit, runs on the big size.

This was the Speedgoat 4 (not the newer 5), and I bought this in a wide width, because that's what I needed. I am delighted to say this shoe fits wider feet terrifically! I've been using it to train for a trail half marathon I will be doing this Fall. Great shoe. Holding up very nicely. Definitely recommend! I DO wish Hoka offered a trail "racing" shoe that was lighter and available in a wide width!

Seems to be hotter on your feet. More plastic material makes it not breath too much .. I clean swimming pools. So for the traction and cushioning of all day walking it worked very well.

The SG4 in my opinion are much better than the SG5's. I have purchased approx 20 pairs of the 4's. I also run 100 mile races and just finished the Cocodona 250. I ran the Cocodona race starting with the 5's and they broke down within 40miles. I had to run another 120 miles before I could get my reserve pair of new 4's. I will not buy another pair of 5's.

BRING THESE BACK!! Best shoe i have ever worn. The cushion is perfect. Breathe. Traction. Cushion again is the best part. Yes several pairs of these held up on my 2,200 mi journey on the Appalachian Trail. Game changer. I am so sad to see these being phased out. I also own speedgoat 5 now and to me the cushion is not the same. Speedgoat 4 I want to wear daily and forever. Hoka you rock, keep making awesome (and highly cushy!) shoes.

The most comfortable pair of running shoes I've ever had on my feet. Most people know there is a break in period and it comes to running shoes. Not with these put them on Tatum ran 6 miles the first day felt like I had worn them for 100 miles!!!!

Great shoes. Trail running, hiking, teaching Phys. Ed. on a hard gym floor, these do it all well.

Wore these for recent mountain trail marathon and I couldn't be more happy. Handled the terrain perfectly included a lot of technical terrain - lose and jagged rock. But we're also comfortable on flat and easy surfaces. I'm guessing at least half the runners were also wearing these. My feet felt great after the run. 10/10.

Really comfortable right out of the box. I wear heavy socks year round so regular width is fine too.

The best thing about my new Hoka shoes is that my feet do not hurt after a 2,3,or even 4?hour hike up our local mountains. Oh yes and these are the only sports shoes I have ever owned that make the shoe laces the perfect length and slightly sticky - wonderful!

Took them out of the box and went for a hike, no break in, no blisters or sore spots, lots of cushioning.
Since Womens don't come in 11.5 I bought mens 9.5

I wear the shoes to the gym and jogging on the trails. Love the shoe but the 13 is a little tight. 14 is too big. I got the wide thinking it would be just a little longer but they aren't. I wish you had 13 1/2. That would be perfect. Basically my toes hurt after a long run or trip to the gym. Thank you
