I would like to start off by saying that I really want to love the Hoka brand but it just hasn't worked out for me.
I have a wide foot and I have tried the Clifton 5 & 6, Bondi 2 & 6 and the Arahi 1, 2 and now the 4.
All these I have listed I have tried in the wide (2E) width and with the exception of the Arahi 4 all have failed in being wide enough.
With the new Arahi 4 you have truly hit a home run. The width is superb and everything I could ask for in a wide width. The forefoot not only is wide but the toe box height is spot on also.
I am a bigger guy and I like the forefoot cushion in the Arahi 4, it's perfect, I get the softness that I need without it being too soft or spongy.
I usually like a neutral shoe but I don't mind the support that the Arahi 4 offers. It works just fine for me.
I am approaching a 100 miles on this shoe and I love it so much I am picking up two more pair. This is my #1 shoe right now and I am happy to say well done!
Going forward it would be great if you could follow the same design for other shoe versions in the Hoka lineup for your wide widths.

Was comparing the two Hoka stability shoes, Arahi and Graviota. Due to price, instead of keeping both, decided to go with the Graviota at this time and will be returning the Arahi. The Arahi is a nice stability shoe, slightly lighter in weight than the Graviota, slightly less support, or a different feel to the support than the Graviota. I wear custom fit orthotics, and they fit ok in both shoes. The Arahi felt slightly longer and slightly wider to my feet than the Graviota even though the description and reviews say the Arahi is a narrower shoe. The Graviota feels like it has more cushioning than the Arahi. For my foot, the Graviota gives a nice, snug, supportive fit. First time purchasing Hoka, so curious how they will last in comparison to my Brooks and New Balance.

Very elevated and cushioned. Is NOT true to size....feels one size smaller and definitely narrower than normal. Looks clunky and not particularly stylish.

This company has such a bad customer service. I bought my shoes in a retail store. After only 3 uses (15 km), my shoe is now broken, and now they want to charge me the shipping to replace my shoes. This is a cost you should take over for selling me a faulty shoe, not me.

Compared to the Arahi 3, the Arahi 4 feels more balanced. I only wish there were similar colors in the 4 like the 3. Overall, it is a great shoe.

If you want longevity this is NOT the shoe for you. I’ve had these shoes (which I paid a good amount for) for 2 months and the bottom is already worn down. I only use for occasional walks, maybe 15 miles a week. My last pair of new balance lasted a year based on my occasional use. I will give the company a chance to fix my problem; but not going to except much as I’m sure this is a normal occurrence.

These aren't available yet where I'm from, so I was really happy to receive these in the mail. Broke in a 5km run with my Arahi 4, where every step of felt like I was stepping on a soft mattress-all the way. Well-cushioned and quite responsive shoe. I can see myself doing a half and probably a full marathon with these. Could have a more breathable upper but still an awesome shoe!

I walk in this shoe 2-3 days per week. It's comfortable, supportive and wears well. I highly recommend this shoe.

Excellent shoes for heavy runners! I had to order directly from their website because the color I wanted wasn't available on Zappos. It not only provides great moderate cushion but also great stability.

I've been running with the Arahi 4s for 2x a week on 1-2 hour runs for the last 4 months. It's very responsive and way more comfortable than the Arahi 2s I was last in. I like the thin upper but would recommend thick socks if running in the cold.

The Arahi 4 sneakers are my 3rd pair of Hoka One One's and I believe they are the best fit and comfort. They are have a great look to them

Great combination of stability and cushioning makes for a really great running shoe. Extremely comfortable right out of the box.

I typically run in Altra Escalante v1. Unfortunately, Altra decided to use a narrow last (no idea why). I gave Hoka a try in 2E width.
So far so good except there is no arch support to speak of. I guess the Escalante is not that great in arch support but for some reason, this bothers me more on the Hoka Arahi 4. Maybe it is the drop. I am keeping this shoe as part of my spares collection because I got a good price on it and it fits my feet. I may have to get a better insole however.

Love my shoes. Won't wear anything else. Next time I will probably buy one with more stability as I tend to pronate quite badly. Probably need orthotics.

These are the most comfortable running shoes I have ever purchased the fit is great and the cushioning and support is amazing, I constantly get complements on their looks. The downside is that after a week of use I noticed that the soles don't seem to be as durable and are wearing out faster than other running shoes I've owned and will probably need to be replaced sooner.

Thinking the grass might be greener on the other side, I strayed from my usual Brooks Ravennas and Saucony Guide stability shoes... I put 30 miles on these... The positives were: the fit was great, the plushness, softness and bounce were great - although the response wasn't quite where I was hoping...
Anyhow, thinking maybe there was something better than my normal every day trainers, I decided to go out on a limb with these guys. Unfortunately after about 5 miles into my 1st run, my knees and ankles ached substantially more than normal. Thinking maybe I just needed adjusting and/or acclimating, I tried another 4-6 miles with the same result. Then 5 or 6 runs into it these "aches," it was quite evident they weren't going away, and if anything the aches were getting worse. I also found that the soles were starting to wear after 30 miles as well, which seems a bit early to me. I don't want to trash these shoes because there were some good aspects to them, but as much as I wanted to like them, these just weren't the shoes for me; lesson learned.

They take a while to break in, longer than you'd expect. But if you can push through it, they're a pretty good running shoes.

I loved the Arahi 2. Never could find a good fit with version 3 so I strayed. Thought I would give this version a try. Not as comfortable as v2, but the fit is better then v3. Would I buy again? Still don’t know, but probably not.

Discovered one of the white stripes inside became "unglued" just after 6 runs with it. Had used two Arahi 3 but it didn't have these white stripes.
