I own three pair of Hokas and have loved them all. These are my first Hoka hiking boots. I've worn them twice and they are as comfortable as my Cliftons. They are lighter weight and more giving than my other hiking boots and they fit nicely around my ankle. I hike on rough desert terrain and am hopeful the soles will withstand the abuse. All my Hokas are a size 9 but in the boots I took an 8.5.

Comfortable, supportive, and also look good! What more can a girl want from her shoes?

I mainly wear these for walking but some hiking. I use inserts for high arch and altogether make a very comfortable shoe.

To be honest, I wasn't sure what to expect when I first ordered these; if the shoes would live up to the hype around the Hoka brand. I was worried about the pronation and wasn't sure if it be the right boot for me. Boy, was I wrong! These hiking boots are incredibly light - saving some energy and effort with each step on the trail. They are incredibly cushioned so you don't feel rocks and roots beneath your shoes like I'm accustomed to. They also absorb impact so you feel little to no reverberation with big steps or jumps. Furthermore, they have yet to skid or slip on me! Typically on a day hike I'm used to slipping at least 5-6 times resulting in one fall if I don't have my hiking poles. I have yet to slip once in these boots thanks to the fit and great traction. I absolutely love them!

Stop your search now and click buy. Great support without being a large shoes. Still feels as light as a running shoe. My feet are so happy.

Overall satisfied. I find it to be a bit wider in the toe bed than I was expecting. Comfort is okay and you can't go wrong with a waterproof High top. I have the ankle gtx hokas and they are my favorite so I'm very happy to add these to my hoka one one collection.

Nice wide toe box. Felt more like a athletic shoe, but looked like it would perform like a hiking boot.

I really love these hikers. They are my first hoka ones and I bought them because I needed a wide toe box shoe for walking and hiking long distances due to a bunion issue (also the brand was recommended by my orthopedist)...and also wanted ankle support due to a lower fibula break earlier in the year. These hokas are perfect. The toe box offers loads of room for my bunion...I have had little to no pain with it since buying these. I live in CO and hike a variety of terrain from rocky uneven and steep surfaces to nice easy groomed trails and the ankle support was just right for me. I can't really comment on their waterproof-ness thus far, but their breath-ability seems fine for me ie. I don't' find them especially warm. They are light weight, grippy, fit well right out of the box and I love the turquoise color! One negative is that they seem to have less pronation support than my solomons...but thus far that has not been an issue for me. The other complaint/concern would be their durability. I have had them a couple months now and have done a fair amount of hiking...well over 30 miles...but some of the rubber trim seems to be pulling up a bit. Nothing has broken or come off yet but I was hoping for something more durable especially for the price. I still give them high marks for their comfort but time will tell how long they will hold up. I really hope more than one season!

These are a great lightweight mid option. I've only put a hand full of miles on them, but so far so good!

I have gym Hoka one one shoes that I wear all the time for running and and walking, but this boots didn’t feel the same as the gym shoes. I wear 9.5 W , but this shoes were not wide enough for me. They say Medium and are a true medium shoe.

Fit was ok but found the shoe had to squishy a feel, ie not enough support in the footbed. More concerning is the over wide toe box, good for those with wide feet (mine are average) . My custom orthotic, which fits just fine in my other hiking boots, didn't fill up the space. Additionally, I could feel a weird lump under my forefoot with the orthotic in place. So not the boots for me. Note: same with the other HOKA ONE ONE hiking boots, including Speedgoat, etc.

A few days before a 22 mile hike, these Hokas broke and now I need to send them back. Truly not happy and would not recommend this product.

The traction is phenomenal, however the shoe is way too wide for a regular width.

These shoes are great. They are so light and comfortable. The toe box is very roomy, so plenty of room if you need thicker socks.

I wore these for two years straight, the grip was great, the ankle support was great, and this past summer they started to not be waterproof. But that was two years of heavy use! Major quality! Wish these were still available.

These TOA GTX look exactly like my previous pair. Hoka stopped making this model, and this model fits my foot perfectly. I looked at Hoka's current models, and the reviews weren't great. I was delighted that I found these on Zappos website. I haven't worn them yet, but they look exactly like my previous hiking boots, so I think they'll be perfect. And now I have a back-up pair. Thank you, Zappos.

I usually get a lot of knee and heel pain after walking, so I decided to try these for a recent hiking trip. No pain, plenty of support, excellent traction and cushioning. I love them.

I have two pairs of these boots. One for hiking trails and one for walking in our neighborhood. They support my ankles and the toe box is properly designed to provide room for my toes. I hate narrow shoes. Who are they designed for? I do not want my foot squished. I do not have a wide foot--I cannot wear a wide width. Hokas are perfect. I also have two pairs of Bondi 7.
