I can't say enough about how much I love these. The style is so great although comfort is my most important need standing all day as an active healthcare provider. I never have the time for trial and error when choosing shoes. These were a hit right out of the box and I didn't want to take them off. I wear a size 7 women's and they were true to size with no time to break them in.

These are sturdy shoes. They are what our family calls "old man shoes" - and I am a woman, haha! But believe me, the older I get, the less I'm concerned about style and the more concerned I am about comfort. I took out the insoles and put in my own orthotics. I wore these shoes the first day 4-5 miles without aching feet. My feet are narrow, but I need the extra width in the toe box because of a bunion. No pain. Ugly, but who cares when your feet no longer hurt!

I bought this shoe specifically for it's waterproof feature. So far , it excels at that, but cushioning is lacking. Tread grip is good, even ok on road/sidewalk portions of run. I think next waterproof purchase will end up being a road shoe as I am an older runner and need more cushioning than this model offers.

I love the Bondi 6, but my feet were wet every day. I walk early and the grass is always wet here in sunny Florida! These shoes keep my feet dry. They may not have quite as much cushioning and comfort as Bondi 6, but on wet days they are perfect!

Comfortable right out of the box. Will take some getting used to since I usually wear flat shoes, feet a bit sore after a few miles.

These keep my feet warm and dry hiking on trails. They are sturdy and have great support and traction. I was happy with the sizing they fit well.

Only thing I don't like is the color. They have kept my feet dry while hiking on wet days. They also grip well on hills.

I bought the Challenger ATR 5 after my podiatric surgeon recommended Hoka One One as the best shoe for post-surgery and beyond. He said the stiffer, supportive sole and meta rocker design are the best choice to prevent me from re-developing the severe arthritis and hallux rigidus on my toe that landed me in his office in the first place. As a middle-aged runner, I was hesitant to take his advice and end 10 years of only wearing New Balance with orthotics, but I am so glad I did! These shoes are fabulous--supportive, comfy, light, and work great for road or trail miles. I had to test out the Bondi 6 and the Clifton before settling on the Challenger as the best fit for me. They run a half size smaller than my New Balance, but the toe box is slightly wider, which is exactly what I need. I flinched at the price at first, but they are definitely worth it. I know I will order more Hoka One One in the future. Consider me a convert!

These fit perfectly right out of the box. The shape of the shoe feels different since I always wear flat shoes, but it’s a good feeling for my feet. This will be my new hiking shoes!

We walk our dog 4-5 times a week for 4 miles each walk. These shoes are great for our rainy weather. Feet stay dry. Traction is great. I have feet issues and Hoka One One has made it possible to walk with less pain.

I walk every day and recently began having back problems and foot problems. Hoka has resolved those problems by changing the weight change on my feet. I love them

I love these shoes. They are waterproof, with a smaller profile. I use them for walking on trails and they are great. I have many pairs of Hokas and I am a fan, but these are my very favorite, from fit, grip, extremely comfortable and lightweight and the bonus of being waterproof!

Loved the wide Challengers, took a chance on these because I like the all black. If you have wide feet, no go, big difference, so I'll stick with the challenger wides without waterproofing. Hope they make them in wides at some point!

I bought these shoes for my wife to wear them on hikes and regular long walks on road. She loves it. The fit is perfect the cushion is good too and they seem to be durable because they have tough lugs. This was her second pair of the same model.

I bought these in November, knowing I was going to teach outdoors in the Northeast everyday. I was looking for the impossible; a sneaker style shoe that I could wear in all weather, snow, rain, mud, you name it (I have an aversion/old injury that makes it uncomfortable for me to wear boots). And when I tell you I wore these everyday in every weather, I mean I wore them every single day (except the one day after it snowed ~5 inches). I wore these in the snow, mud, rain, hail, sleet, in 20 degree weather, in 70 degree weather, all while chasing preschoolers up and down a pretty steep hill. Not once did my feet get wet, or too hot, and when paired with a decently thick sock, never got cold. For full disclosure, I did not ever run in these, they were used more as a glorified walking shoe. They run a smidge big (I'm generally a 9.5, I purchased a 9), but there is plenty of room in the toe box (I have a normal to slightly wide foot). I credit these shoes as part of the reason I did not quit my job, as I am notoriously unable to withstand harsh winters.
