I opted for the leather Terra Fi 5 because I live in my Teva's and wanted something for my active style but could still be used daily. I also bike a lot on trails. The leather won't snag as easy as the webbed option. It's more brown than the picture but that's not a bad thing. At all. I highly recommend. Also, is you're a half size go down to closet whole size. I'm 11.5 but 11 fits perfect.

I had a pair of the old style more than 20 years ago. These are not a recreation, more like an update. Super adjustable.
If you are in between sizes order the smaller size.

Well, I have. This is pair #3 and feels as good as #1 and #2. But sad that TEVA isn't offering half sizes anymore for this model.

I am not completely happy with these sandals. They are the first sandals I've ever bought from TV but I had to break in before they were comfortable. In the previous sandals I bought they were comfortable when I first put them on. I have been wearing these new sandals for over a week now and they are still not very comfortable. I only hope they break in soon. If there's any suggestion you might have about breaking the man please advise me.

I buy this sandal over and over - it is essentially the same sandal for 20 years but with better upgrades each time. These are comfortable and unassuming.

At first, these were comfortable to step into. But when I wore them out for the first time, I soon developed a couple of pretty painful rub-spots on either side of both ankles. To be fair, these were only tiny little spots (about the size of a B-B [do people still know what B-B's are?]) - but they hurt like the Dickens, and were on a part of my foot that doesn't get much abrasion - tender flesh. Feeling the pain coming on, during that wearing, I played around with the adjustment of the main strap - but it was something about the stitching or the material - or both - that just (no pun intended) rubbed me wrong. I was too sore to wear them again until those spots had fully healed.
Soooo, I wore them a second time - a few weeks later - hoping that they would start to get "broken in". And during/after that second wear, the same rub spots occurred - but to a lesser degree...this time more like tenderness and/or one layer of skin worn away, and not full-on broken/bleeding skin. Maybe I wore them for a shorter period, maybe those tough spots were softening/smoothing, or maybe I walked differently to protect my ankles as the areas got tender again - I don't know.
So, I'm going to give them a good hard look, and see if I can sand down, soften up, or somehow keep those points of contact from rubbing so much. Then I'll wear them one more time, out for a normal afternoon of general walking. If they still hurt/rub after that - I'll probably send them back.
Maybe I'll try putting a piece of tape over those spots - - but, I shouldn't have too - - because I got these leather sandals for their sharp and classic look. A piece of tape would just look tacky! And, maybe my skin needs to toughen up - - but again - it shouldn't have to! Other Teva sandals I've purchased have been immediately comfortable under all conditions. But, we'll see. And, I'll try to update this review if things change - one way or the other.

Luv Teva, they last for ever. But when these Teva's arrived (and they were the most expensive, leather kind), the velcro of the straps was not properly adhered to the Pull-back tab. So, I'm having to glue the velcro to the Pull-Back tab. So, the 'wow' factor quickly disappeared after I discovered this large flaw.

I moved to Asia a year ago and the hardest thing for me is half sizes. I needed to go to America and buy on a black Friday for a proper deal. It's well built and looks nice. The sole is suede which I didn't like at first but it helps wick away moisture from your feet so it's actually good to buy the leather version.

This is my favorite sandal and because Teva doesn't make a leather sandal in women's I bought this for myself in a men's nine. I thought that would fit, but it was a size 2 large and I gave it to a friend. Will be buying a size 8, unless Teva would make a woman's leather sandal just like this one. It had all all the padding and comfort that I need for walking. Liked them better than the woman's hurricane with the padding.

Love the leather, the straps that I have cushion inside so they don't hurt your feet and the look of them. Wish they would make these leather tears in women's.
Due to the fact, they were men's and I bought them for myself and have quite a long narrow foot because I'm 59 and I need big feet or I'd fall down, Wide and too long. I did give them to a friend of mine who's a guy and they fit him perfectly. He loved them. Have been buying Teva's since the early 90s and they last for a long time and I just love them. I never get a backache after walking in my Teva's.

I have been wearing Teva sandals for over a decade. This leather model I prefer because of its "dressiness". They are, in my opinion, the most comfortable footwear for walking on paved surfaces in warm weather.

My last pair of this sandal lasted over five years. I wear them every day as soon as it gets warm out. Totally waterproof also. They are absolutely the most comfortable sandal you will ever wear. I have neuropathy and struggle with foot pain. I can't even tell I have these on, and they never leave me aching. So good for your feet. Get them!

I have been buying and wearing this style since they first came out as the Terradactyls back in the mid-90s. Comfortable, lightweight, and unbreakable.

The headline speaks for itself. My first pair is still good but worn. Great sandal in and out of the water.

I wear these sandals for almost any and every occasion/purpose, from a quick run to the store, a walk with a friend, and even fly fishing in the river. I can wade into salt water to get into my kayak and when they dry out they look just the same as before. It took my last pair YEARS to look worn and I expect these to hold up just as well. I am a 74 year old female with long narrow feet with bunions and I wear a mens size 11. Thanks to the perfectly positioned velcro straps I can make them fit my feet perfectly.
