My new 'Demanding' boots by Steve Madden are way beyond cute... they're hot! 'Demanding' is definitely a statement boot so be prepared to turn heads. Like most Steve Madden styles, the boot runs small so go up at least a half size. I'm wearing my new 'Domain' boots today over stockings with a mini skirt and a tee. I'm about 5' 7" tall and my calves are not skinny but they're not muscular... about average I'd say. The boot shafts fit my calves and thighs absolutely skin-tight but they're slightly stretchy. I experimented a little bit... I can wear the boots over stirrup leggings. If I try to pull the boots on over traditional leggings, the leggings ride up and the look is ruined. The boots are truly over-the knee. I'm about 5' 7" tall and the tops of the shafts hit about four inches above my knees. The heels are over four inches tall but I really like that. The boots have an inside half-zip which makes pulling on the boots easier than I imagined. The construction is faux leather: the upper is plastic / PU. 'Demanding' is -not- a leather boot. All of the materials are man-made. Don't expect to stretch these boots to fit because polyurethane doesn't hold a stretch. I purchased the red snake-print color. These boots are a lot of fun to wear!

I love them! My legs are really skinny and it's super hard to find boots to fit my legs properly, but these fit are perfect! I'm sooo happy and will be ordering them in black.

I normally wear 6.5 in pumps and sandal; for sneakers and boots I wear 7; I order the size 7, they fit just right but Without socks on. I could order half size up, but Decide that Im gonna keep it anyways. What I like the most is that I have thick legs and thighs and THEY FIT ME!! Very easy to put on and take out.

A little tight around legs because they’re is no zipper. It’s hard to get off and on. Definitely not for larger legs in width. Overall so cute, definitely worth it for me.

The boot is super sexy! Unfortunately, I have large calves so they didn't work for me :-(. I wish there was a little more give in the calf/leg area.

True to size

For reference, I ordered my regular sz 9, I’m 5’7, 175lbs, big legs with 15.5 in. calves. I had to fold down to get them on but they stretched around my big legs and look great! They are snug but they do have stretch in them, which I noticed is missing on the item description. The heel is very comfortable and overall this boot is sexy. True thigh high boots on my long legs. I haven’t even seen the Dominique boot in red snake print except at Zappos. This color isn’t even on the Steve Madden website. What an awesome find at an awesome price!! I recommend.

These boots are beautiful! You should order a size up. I ordered a size 10, they fit perfect but I can’t wear a sock or they will fit snug! But they fit my legs perfect! I love these boots!!!

These were a definite hit. I'm slim and it can be difficult to find boots that fit, but these are perfect. Love them!

Love the style. There is a small blemish / defect around the zipper. It looks like the seam did not match up.

Its a very comfortable shoe but its way too over the knee for me. I'm 5'4" and it was more like thigh high.

I love the boots...they look incredible on...but without a zipper its too difficult getting them and off...literally got nervous after trying them on that I may have to cut them off...good luck!
