Is smaller and narrower that other styles of ASICS. Nice shoe otherwise.

The shoe looks great, is solid, weather proof, and comfortable. I'm a little disappointed with the grip of the sole though, even on some rough/off road terrain it's less effective than I would have expected. And for sure, the sole isn't good on certain 'normal' wet surfaces though e.g. wet smooth tarmac; or wet tiles...which is unfortunate as it is a cool shoe!

Shoes look and feel good but have only walked in the shoes at present. Size ok but probably would say they are slightly smaller than my Nike size. Toe box feels a bit tight on my larger foot. The shoes need to be walked in before running in them as they feel on the stiff side compared to my road running shoes.

I already have the gel-sonoma 4's, and a non-gtx pair of 5's. I sized up to use these for running. Really good support and perfect for the roads and tracks I run on.
The only negative is the laces are a little flimsy compared to the ones that came on the 4's but I would still highly recommend.

Great waterproof trainers excellent for cycling, not the best grip on wet surfaces.

Very pleased with these trail running shoes. They're really comfortable, the waterproofing works very well and they were great value for money.

I think these are technically men's but I bought them after reading the size guide because I have wide feet and usually struggle with running shoes.
I do find them quite heavy for running but, as these are my first trail trainers and I usually run in tarmac shoes, I haven't really got anything to compare them with. They are very comfy though, especially for walking in. Reasonably waterproof... Been running through some calf length grass in them and usually in my tarmac runners my feet would be soaked in seconds... I can just feel it coming through after around 30mins. The tread is good on soft ground, I don't think it would be suitable for super muddy runs.
They are also pretty hard on tarmac so may not be suitable for a run which incorporates various types of ground.
But considering the price, I would recommend for walking definitely and for soft trail runs.

Took a little longer to deliver than expected but very pleased with quality and comfort. Decent grip in loose stones and very comfortable on long mountain walk. Sized a little small. Would buy again.

Nice wide shoe, which is what I needed. Only drawback is that the sole isn't very aggressive so traction is minimal; fine for roads, but not that great on trails.

As Always excellent quality and feel great. I've been wearing the Venture 6 for a couple years. The 12 4E was a perfect fit. This one is shorter and narrower. Its bearable but on my next pair of these I'll push up to a 13 4E.

Previously owned many , many pairs of ASICS trainers , they are "my brand of choice". Have Sonoma - 4 , which are Gortex finished so disappointed these weren't . Keeping consistency in range essential for consumers buying online. Overal still a great shoe for me. Love them all x

The shoes fit well and I like the style. When I have the chance to run in them I will see how the support is. Feel great as far as walking in them.

Pristine for about 30 mins. Checked the fit (usual ASICS perferct for the wider foot) then straight out into the clatch. Bought for mixed surface off road runs where the harder tracks will wear fell studs quickly. They work well on forest trails with mud on gravel and grassy stuff. They are not all that great on slippy mud particularly where slope is across the route but they arent fell shoes and they are a good deal better than road flats. Mid sole cleats tend to fill up but toe and heel ones shed clatch well They also work pretty well on snow and crunchable ice. Would have preferred the GTX which were not available in 14 however water will still flow in over the top so maybe I should see it as a 7quid saving. Ths greyish colour seems to suit the dried mud.

These feel like a good upgrade from the Sonoma 4, as they feel lighter. The grip on muddy surfaces also feels better. The only thing I would like to see improved on this entry level trail shoe is for the area just above the big toe nail to be more solid than the mesh, as I know that this is where the shoe will first show signs of wear for me. This is in fact the case with all my Asics shoes, but I stick with this brand because they always fit my feet

So far so good. Seems waterproof. For me, it could be a little narrower, with more space for the big toe. If there was more space for the big toe I could maybe have gone down one size (from 47 to 46.5).
Would have preferred, maybe, a combination of colours slightly more in the direction of "smart casual". (The orange detail could have changed to grey perhaps).
