I bought these specifically for riding a board. I have a narrow foot and normal wear a 9 in W, and a 40 in Birkenstocks. To translate from F to M sizing, they tell you to go down 2 sizes, but I think this is wrong for this particular shoe. It should only be 1.5 sizes. :/ Oh well. The shoe rubs a little on the Achilles tendon of my back/dominant foot (also my slightly longer foot). I've worn them a few times so I guess that means I'm keeping them! But because they are suede I'm thinking they will mostly likely stretch a little with time and I will eventually develop a callus. Other than that they are fine. They are kind of an olive green color even though they look tan in the picture. I like that there is not a lot of floppiness in the shoe. The Vans were too roomy for me.

I ordered the same size as my previous Converse, but this model certainly didn’t fit. I will order one size bigger if interested.
