Warning: these ASICS Gel Excite shoes have zero support in midsole footbed. Sure, it’s got a soft squishy foot liner but there’s zero molding for arches (similar to vans or converse, requires inserts for high activity level). Their description makes the shoe sound wonderfully supportive but I had to exchange (with fingers crossed!) for GT-2000 8.

I purchased my first pair of ASICS Gel-Excite 7s in February. I wear a women's size 12 wide. I have a relatively high arch and have arthritis in my toes, so they are disfigured, and I struggle to find shoes that fit comfortably. These are the best fitting and most comfortable tennis shoes I have ever owned. I love them so much that I ordered a second pair. They are attractive too. I would recommend these to anyone. I use mine for the gym, long walks, and running errands.

LOVE these shoes - I am using these shoes for jogging and I felt I was just cushioned on air! I am going to buy more of these shoes - such a great price and so stinking comfortable - I didn't even have to "break" them in. I put them on this morning and went out and jogged 4 miles with no problem - super lightweight - love the bold pink. There shoes are PERFECT!

I just recently learned what the deal is with the supination/overpronation stuff, and why I should care, so I found these to handle my supination, and they are the prettiest ones that fit that search criteria. So they're here, and they're perfect! I love bright colors and they can be hard to find. Very comfy on my walks for 40 min a day. I also do a few short runs in there. Glad I got them.

Love These! Color is great and very comfortable. They run small so order 1/2 size up at least.

I purchased these sneakers after my podiatrist recommended that I get better sneakers. I have a very high arch that has been causing me trouble and I needed a sneaker that would give me comfort as I exercised. He recommended Asics as well as Brooks. I ordered both brands and the Asics were the most comfortable by far--also at a price that was just right! My feet are happier and I'm ready to take the dog for a long walk!

I have been a faithful New Balance buyer only to find that New Balance has shortened the toe box (the length from the shoe string to the tip of the toe area) and I am not the only person with this complaint. I purchased a New Balance shoe in 3 sizes up and the length of the toe box was the same...so, after reading reviews I found that these people went to ASICS and so did I...I found no difference in the performance of the shoe and the toe box length is perfect.

So bummed about these!! Love the style and they are so comfortable, I wear orthotics and cushions for flat feet and they were great, removable insole left plenty of room. Had them for two months, I walk 1-5 miles a day. Souls are great but everything else just started falling apart really quickly, can’t justify getting another pair so soon.

I love these shoes. I love pink and they are bright pink. They are also very comfortable. I wear them every day to work out.

I bought these shoes as I have been taking a lot of walks while we are quarantined. I have already put many miles on them and they feel great on my flat feet.

These are very comfy trust me I have bilateral Planter Fasciitis and wear orthotics. I purchased a half size bigger and was able to keep the original inserts in as well. I have skinny feet so it worked for me. Very nice style. I will be buying another color soon.

I always size up a full size in Asics. This shoe is extremely comfortable, with lots of heel cushion and stability. Love love!

Super comfy and supportive when I put them on. First time I wore them my sock slipped down and was slightly uncomfortable. But the second wear my husband pointed out that my left heal was bleeding...a lot. They look great so I’m not giving them up yet...I’ll give them one more chance.

Sadly, way too narrow. I wear a 7.5 medium. This shoe made my toes go numb after 15 minutes every time I walked out in them. I left the laces as loose as possible but nope - toes still numb. Kept trying to "break them in" but no go. Donating them (because I wore them and also recycled the box already).

Color is so vibrant! Not as soft as some of the ASICS I have run in in the past, but very comfy nonetheless.

I love these shoes! I have previously mostly worn New Balance, but decided to try these, because I wanted something with better arch support and comfort. These are great! No need to break in, they have been perfect on several 4 mile walks since I bought them. I think they look better than they did in the pictures on the Zappos site. I took some other reviewer’s recommendation and ordered a half size up. These fit me great, not too loose, but there is plenty of toe space, so I may have been fine with my normal size.

I have a pair of ASICS trail shoes which I really love, but they are a little heavy for everyday walking. I bought these Gel- Excite 7 shoes and I love them. They are lightweight and have good support.

I've worn the Asics Gel-Nimbus model for several years, but was tired of my heels hurting. I went out on a limb and tried the Gel-Excite instead. Heel and sole comfort is way better than the Nimbus and the shoe is much lighter. I wear an 11 medium, but the fit is a bit narrow even for my narrow to medium width feet. Also, the right shoe fits like an 11, but the left fits like a 10.5. I'm keeping them because I figure the fabric will stretch a bit to my foot, but I'll order an 11.5 next time.

It has been almost four months since my purchase and the colors still cheer me up every day. The fit is pretty darn good considering that they were bought online. I have a hard to fit foot—long and narrow with a high arch—and these feel like they wrap around my feet in a good way. I still have to make sure to tie them extra tight, but my feet are much happier on our long lockdown walks that they were without the support!

I got these based on a recommendation from my podiatrist. They are perfect for my high arched, 50-year old feet. Very happy with the color, fit and price. Highly recommend!

This is my second pair of this model (been wearing Asics for over 20 years exclusively), and I looooove them! The comfort can’t be beat! They do run a little small so I need to size up my running shoes almost a whole size. They feel great and love the neon colors (I’ll never got lost ?).

I'm on my feet for 16+ hours a day walking on hard concrete and I needed something that would help ease the pain on my feet and back. These shoes are awesome!! Felt great and cushioned ever step. One word of advice these shoes are not at all water resistant, walking on grass with dew is a recipe for soaked feet.

Usually a 9 in regular shoes, but always a 1/2 size up for running sneakers. Super comfy. Needed a good solid walking shoes and these are perfect!

I think I found the perfect running shoes for me. I’ve tried Brooks Ghost, Saucony’s, Mizuno’s, New Balance, and Nike’s. This is by far the best fit, light enough, but has enough arch support for various workouts, running, or walking. I plan on ordering more in the future!
