like the support and comfort, except I have a high instep, so I am not sure if I like the "straps" that are part of the laces. I might want to cut those out, but not sure if it will affect the integrity of the sneaker.

This shoe feels great moving around the court. You do need to used the last eyelet to feel locked into the shoe and prevent heal slippage. Unfortunately they do not provide you with a long enough shoelace to used the last eyelet. Almost perfect shoe....

These are a comfortable and well supported tennis shoe. They appear to be wearing well and I expect many months of play. They really "grip" the court, yet have a "soft and cushioned" feel. On my foot, they run a little large in length and feel tight in the mid foot area. I would personally order a wider model, but this was not available. The heel cushioning is great, but it took a few hours to break in by active playing. Overall, I waited a tremendous amount of time for these shoes to be released and I'm satisfied with the purchase. I'm 60 years old and playing 3 times a week in a pretty competitive scenario.

This is really a great tennis shoe. It took few hours to break in for me but then it was amazing. Comfort is superior. My right fooot heel fee like coming out so I have to use last eye lid to tie laces. But all in all - great shoes.

Took some adjustment after years of only using New Balance. A stable, enjoyable shoe that is holding up well. Love the color and look. Hope you keep this style. Would love it in neon green or yellow, something funky.

Well made shoe and attractive. Slightly on the heavy side but good support!

The shoe seems to be the same as the Resolution 7 which I wore for years. Both shoes run 1/2 size small due to narrow toe box. Both shoes do not dry out well as there is too much plastic and no mesh. Need to pull out insoles to get them to dry for the next day. Both shoes performance is great with great ankle and foot support.

Good stable tennis court shoe. A little bit on the heavy side. It would benefit from using lighter materials.

I am totally satisfied with the shoes' functionality. I've been wearing this line for a long time. I love the design. Just one thing. I understand that white shoes get dirty quickly, but this is more true with these shoes. They were already a little dirty when they arrived, even though the shoes must have been just sitting in a warehouse. I guess this type of material particularly get dirty really easily.

They're OK. They feel sturdy, which is nice so they will last. But, they're a little clunkier than I'm used to and the toe area is bigger, so the fit isn't as snug. I am still getting used to them, but my footwork feels a little sloppier.

You should not size up by half as recommended when getting the wider shoe.

It was good for the first two weeks and then great pain came to my son's feet. He loves this shoes but hey are not designed for high arches. The online service guy said Acics doesn't have high arch supporting tennis shoes. So sad.

Durable, stable and well made shoe. My last pair lasted well over a year and other than wear on the sole looked almost new. Purchased a new pair. Only concern so far is a little discomfort on one side when top lace is tied for extra support. Hoping it breaks in.

Right off the bat, the toe box is made with some type of material that has a slight "pop" (at least on my right foot. The next issue is more personal, the heel box had too much support for a tennis shoe. Hopefully, none of that happens to your purchase because they are beautiful shoes (the blue). I ended up sending them back and got my money back to spend on a pair of On.

Normally play in Adidas shoes but wanted to give these highly-rated Asics Gel Res 8's a try. Shoe shape is very long and straight...didn't fit my curved foot very well and caused me to overpronate quite a bit. Cushioning felt good but could see compression to the midsole happening pretty quickly. Outer stability was great and weight felt fine. Traction was also fine. Overall a good shoe but only if your foot is the right shape.

The two flaps are annoying...and options for sizes and wide option should be there.

The shoe fits well. However the Green Grecko bright green color around the top of the shoe bleeds into my socks and have ruined two pair of nice performance socks already.

2nd pair of size 2E. First pair was great, for some reason this pair is bruising my left outer distal foot joint. Not sure why the change. Messing with laces to try and correct but pain is limiting play.

So far I am moderately pleased with the shoes. My first impressions that they were the wrong size lengthwise and widthwise. Now that I've worn them a few times I am being more comfortable with them. I like the look and the support. The biggest problem is that it is almost impossible to get them in the size I need.
