The socks were a bit thinner than I expected. They fit very well and appear well made. Only time will tell.

Very thin, not much support. I think these will not last as well as previous hanes socks.

The footies fit well but the quality is not what i expct from Hanes. The topsare already stretched and a seam has come lose on one sock. i also expected them to be more substancial or thicker.

I've been using these socks for 2 weeks niw. I think that's a good amount of time to try them, and really give good input. First off i thought I got vrew socks, and these were ankles. Nirmally I wear crew socks, so I was a bit hesitant with these. So far Im really surprised how well they are holding up. I have some hanes crew socks that have gotten holes in them in 2 weeks from my work boots, but I haven't had any issues with these getting holes so far. They seem like they are thicker and have more cushion. I think they are more new and improved, but the extra cushion is really noticeable. They fit really snug, are comfortable to work in all day, and so far I haven't had any issues. i would recommend theseto anyone looking for some comfy socks.

These Hanes Ultimate cushion ankle socks are really comfortable! I am very picky with socks. I can't stand socks that make my feet cold and sweaty so I was concerned that these didn't have enough cotton in them. My doubts were gone after I put them on, these feel much richer than I expected. The bottom of the socks are thicker and quite comfortable. Most socks I can only wear for a few hours before I find them annoying, but these I can wear the entire day without a bother. There are a couple of concerns I do have. After the first wash one sock had some loose thread. The sizing for these socks seem a bit on the small size. I am a woman that wears a size 10.5 shoe and the socks seem to fit my feet almost perfectly. This isn't a downside for me, but may be for others with bigger feet. I would ultimately purchase this product, because I loved the comfort these socks provide me.

Unfortunately I ordered the wrong socks so my opinion here might be a little bias seeing how the FreshIQ X-Temp Active Cool socks I intended on ordering would have received a hands down perfect "5" whereas these here barely making the 3 given by me. Along with their easily riding down on your foot the black also leave a mat of sock material on the bottom of your feet after a days wear. They also lose their newness integrity after their first wash. --- Bottom Line ... Spend the extra $ and buy the FreshIQ X-Temp Active Cool socks. You'll be much happier.

Socks are a little on the thin side for me. I like a thicker sock, these fit well but just thin.

I love the feel of the sock for an around the house, but not for all day wear. In my opinion I feel they are thin and too stretchy, they make my shoes uncomfortable and make my feet itchy as well. They do keep my feet warm as the material is very soft. But not my cup of tea for everyday wear.

I got these socks for my husband and the socks fit, but felt tight. My husband is a size 10 so if you have a smaller shoe size this may not be a problem. I think my husband will still use them but they may need time to stretch out as well. Overall they are still a good quality sock

I agree completely with Philbeanz. The quality of Hanes socks is no longer what it once was. I have been buying their socks for many years. They used to be thick and comfortable with high cotton content (as their T-shirts still are). They are now thin and don't last as long. Hanes no longer state the percentage of cotton in their socks. Although the styling is good, in my view, there are better options available elsewhere.

I just wanted some inexpensive ankle socks to wear around the house. These Big and Tall socks are way too small for me. I wear a size 13D shoe and these are supposed to fit up to size 15 shoes. Also, the less cotton, more synthetic fabric (compared to what I was used to) seems too restricting.

I should have believed the reviews I read before buying these socks. I mistakenly thought that if I bought a higher priced item, it would be of better quality. Unfortunately, you don't always get what you pay for. These are a sorry excuse for socks. They are so very thin. Almost no difference from just wearing shoes without socks. Hanes has really, really gone downhill with the quality of products that they sell. Must be the cheapest crap they can get from China, or some other foreign sweatshop. Save your money on this item. I'm not kidding. Lesson learned. I will only go to a store where I can actually see and feel a item like this before I pay way too much money for it. Thanks for reading my review.

Hanes - listen up! I've been buying Hanes socks for 30+ years because they were the best bargain brand IMO and now the quality is rapidly declining for a couple of years. The socks turn by my mid-foot to toe section regularly. This causes rapid wearing of the materials causing holes - then they go straight into garbage. I don't know what brand to buy but it's time to say goodbye to Hanes. They're quantity over quality. I would rather pay more for quality and dependability.

There is really nothing of Hanes that is the quality that they made over a dozen years ago. It's unfortunate that they are choosing to sell poor quality just so they can have a lower price point when they sell the merch. Honestly, I would prefer to pay a few dollars more if I was still getting the quality that I was raised with.
