This is the best basic runner money can buy. It performs like a much higher priced shoe with fantastic cushioning and support. I love the fit, which is snug through the mid foot and broad in the toe box to promote toe splay during a run. The inserts can be easily removed and replaced with an aftermarket model, which I strongly suggest. I use these as a daily runner. I jog about ten miles per week and also walk in them. I’ll be using this model as long as it is made.

I bought these shoes to endure 5 days of Disney world. They were great especially for the price. I have a hard time finding the right fit because I’m a size 15+. A size 16 in these worked perfectly. I wouldn’t have made 20,000+ steps a day without these shoes. Wish I could wear them to work!

Fit perfectly. No heel slippage. Firm but very comfortable shoe. Great to walk distances with, over 10,000 steps a day on a 7 day cruise.

The size and fit felt normal. I normally wear a 10.5 and ordered these. They were comfortable and I enjoyed wearing them for normal every day use. After 3 months, they inside inner portion of the heels on both shoes have been worn through with holes in them. Disappointed.

I chose these because of the foot bed cushioning and low profile Achilles cushion. They are amazing fit and comfort. Style was SF Giants themed which is good for me! Overall think this is a great shoe, and good value on sale!!!

Wide enough! It's rare for me to find shoes that fit my width, but these did it. They're light, comfortable, and cool - great for outdoor exercise in the summertime.

Mesh material is good for hot weather here in Texas. Size runs at least 1/2 too small

Great look and fit. Very comfortable, good feeling sole. Little arch support so may need a supporting arch support.

Overall ASICS have not disappointed and this shoe is no different. The shoe is very light and comfortable. The downside is the insole. It's really a 1/8 inch foam base covered with fabric. This is extremely unacceptable, though unfortunately very ubiquitous among the manufacturers.

I liked previous versions of the GEL-Excite a lot, but for whatever reason these haven’t felt as cushy to me. They’d be fine for walking but for running I expected more pop. The fit is good, just disappointed with the feel of the cushioning.

NOT A RUNNING SHOE Cute and if you just want to take a walk around then great but If you run miles per week like I do this shoe is a joke. No support in sole, arch or heel for running.

My son has wide feet and his feet grow another size every six months. He picked theses out and loves them. We are so happy went with the extra wide.

Great shoe, very comfortable. I am a size 10 in just about any shoe I wear--however, Zappos recommended to buy this in a 10.5 and I have to say it fits pretty well. I like a larger toe box so the 1/2 size larger gave me a little more room there. There is no arch support in this shoe, however. I use these for 5 mile and under runs, but I can see wearing as an everyday shoe as well. Very stylish and you can't beat the price. I can't speak on the longevity of the shoe as I've only had for a few weeks. This is my first pair of Asics and I would definitely buy again.

Great shoes. I’m on my feet all day and these shoes make it feel like I’m standing on air.

This round is tried out these in Size 9 4E (vs Size 9.5 - to offset shoe narrowness) but to my complete surprise, they fit perfectly! I love the roominess + comfort so I definitely look forward to wearing them down during my doggie runs!!

This ASICS shoe was true to size. Overall the comfort and arch support was fantastic for the price point! Would highly recommend this shoe...

Very comfortable so ordered another pair in another color.

Excellent shoe with a major flaw. There is a plastic liner within heal section. After wearing these shoes for several weeks the material in the heal wears down - exposing a sharp plastic liner. Once exposed the shoe is too uncomfortable to wear. I own two pairs of these shoes and it has happened to both pairs. Do not purchase.
