These run narrower than the regular width....I got a wide and they are fine with Smartwool “light hiker” socks....being that these shoes are waterproof for winter jog/walks the wool socks will be good with them. The toe box is roomy, but not an extra amount for being a “wide” shoe. No heel slipping. The tongue is NOT sewn to sides so can tighten up laces. Nice.

Jury’s still out on this one. Price can’t be beat, so I’m keeping. But these aren’t what I expected from New Balance. I’m replacing 2-yr old Fresh Foam NB that I’ve worn smooth on the soles. These must be a “lesser” offering and/or trying to be a lighter-weight shoe. The tongue is very thin and the rim around the back of the shoe isn’t very padded at all. Feels stiff and a bit hard to put on (at least until broken in?) I like the color and overall looks more trim on my foot. I always order a half-size up in NB, and these 10.5s fit exactly as expected on my 10M foot.

For the price I give the shoes five stars. I have only ran in them twice. Walked in them twice. They are fine. Not waterproof however.

Got the 8 Wide to start but they were too big. Then got the 7.5 wide, and they did not feel wide at all. Too small and had to send them back.

Shoe was very comfortable in the insole and arch area support was great (and I'm hard to please with arch support) but the the back of the shoe around the heel rubbed me funny making them uncomfortable.

I loved how light weight they were, but the backs of the shoe are too high and cut into the backs of my ankles. Not waterproof in the least. Dew on the morning grass had them soaked within a couple minutes. Disappointed.

I wear 8.5W in casual/dress shoes, and ordered these in 9W, but they feel small so I'll try re-ordering in 9.5W. The removable insole is one of the cheapest I've ever seen, just a thin poorly cut pad. I'll get some better insoles if the 9.5W fit better.

Really liked the shoe overall, unfortunately, had to return because the size seemed about a half size larger than anticipated and the wide was a good width in the foot itself but the toe box was much wider. Too much movement within the shoe so it was returned.

Fantastic! I underpronate quite a bit which has been putting stress on my ankles. This shoe was perfect! Zappos shipped it so much quicker than I expected given the current pandemic situation. Thanks so much!

These shoes are cute and comfortable. And an incredibly good deal. I wear a 5.5/6 but typically go with a 6 for athletic shoes. The 6 was too big, even with thick socks. Unfortunately the 5.5 is sold out or I would absolutely exchange. The toe box is wide too which I love in a trail shoe. Order at least a half size down and you’ll be happy.

I wanted to love them as new balance has always been my go to shoe. They gave me horrible heel blisters- cut into the back of my foot. I will try a different style.

I like the look of the shoes. However, upon wearing it, the back part of the shoe bothered my ankle on the sides. I did walked in my house for few minutes and that was sufficient for me to decide that this particular NB sneakers wasn't comfortable for me. I have ordered a different model of NB and they are perfect for me. I love Zappos return policy. The shipping was fast and return was painless. :) Thank you Zappos!

Love these shoes! There is a small weird bump on the top of the toebox. It looks as if the material bunched up when these were being sewn. Normally I woul dreturn them but the price was right on sale and I am tired of but=ying and returning shoes during Covid. These are the first pair that fit and are super comfortable for my 8W foot!

Love love love these shoes! They are so light weight and comfortable! I love the look as well. I tried them on and wore them around the house the evening I got them. I fell in love with them immediately! Wore them to work the next day and I am pretty sure my feet said aaaahhhh! ?

New Balance works for me 98% of the time. These were comfortable shoes for my long feet, but I decided to get a pair that are waterproof.

Nice and light. I ordered 7.5 wide. A tad big but thinking the next size down would be too small.

These seem bigger than marked, and have less arch support than I had hoped. They are light which is a plus- the front toe and detailing is plastic, not leather.

These shoes are pretty dull looking and I normally wear brighter New Balance shoes, but they are o.k. for my every day use.

Fit not good, quality was especially disappointing. I returned this shoe.

I was worried about sizing but these were a perfect fit. True to size. They look so much nicer in person. I just love them.

These shoes are great. I found that you need to get a 1/2 size bigger. So far they feel and look perfect. Thank you!

I wear these for everyday walking on pavement, sand, hills and trails in urban forests/parks. Bought the Castlerock/Varsity Gold color. Someone on my walk even stopped me to say she loved these shoes, asked where to buy them, and popped all the Zappos info into her phone. 4-stars for comfort goes straight to the heel. A bit higher in the back than my older NB trail shoes, some breaking-in was necessary. A few days with a cushy adhesive strip resolved the issue. Love 'em!

These are really cute and the fit is great. They’re perfect for my cardio workouts.
