The color of red is more of an orange red than a cherry red

I'm only using these for going out (dinner, lunch, etc.). They don't quite have as good support as my Ghost 13, which I use for walking and LOVE. I walk a minimum of 3 miles each day, and also do my work-outs in them.

Really comfy right out of the box. My 3 seven-mile runs have been great but I felt the midsole a bit when I went to 9 miles and up. There is a lot of volume in the toebox so this shoe might be too roomy for those with a narrow or thin foot. Thank you to Brooks for supporting Brave Like Gabe. Maybe a matching runners hat and bandana would be nice.

Overall, I like the look and feel of the shoes. I have about 25 miles on them so far, and only concern is whether they will hold up as I feel that one sole is already starting to feel significantly different. Time will tell how they hold up.

1st pair of running shoes. Wasn't sure what to expect or really what characteristics to zero in on when I ordered. Took a few runs before I was able to fully break them in. Feet were sore those first couple of runs, but now they feel so much better. Really lightweight and comfortable.

going from Launch 4 or 5 to Launch 7, fit is good. I am enjoying them so far (under 30 days). Comfortable and fit is good for me.

Very nice running shoes. It may be just because I have not worn them in yet but they don't feel as comfortable as my Launch 2s were/are. Love the way they look and feel while walking though. Probably just need to put some more miles in them. Overall I'm decently pleased with them.

These shoes have great stability. I feel some good spring on hills but have not taken them on the trails yet.

Good lightweight shoe. Did a half marathon and the heel comes into the back of your foot and will cause blisters if you don't wear a high enough cut sock. So probably a better 10k or less shoe

Good shoes. This is not a stability shoe, and it shows. The padding is significantly less comfortable than the adrenaline GTS line, which I would say makes that shoe better suited for distances >5k, and puts this shoe pretty firmly in the 5 miles and less per run category. Colors are great for the Launch. Also, the fit is not too wide, but not too narrow, medium width - my foot width is right between a regular shoe and a 2E wide, and so I sized up half a shoe size and had no issues with the launch, especially after about a week of solid running in them.

This is my general wear shoe, I do not run in them. They are comfortable for my everyday use and keep my feet comfortable with my orthotic insert.

The comfort level and the look are great. It feels a little slower than the previous incarnation. A little ware appears if you use a runner's loop when tying your shoes. I would definitely buy them again.

It seems like the launch has got more bulky over the years. The earlier launch I could use for a trainer and a racing shoe. The last few models, even though they're under 10 oz feel heavy. I also get a slight blister on the ball of my right foot when going on a run over 5 miles. That said, I still believe in Brooks shoes and will continue to run in them. Please slim down the Launch though. That could make it an Excellent shoe

I really like the launch series. I used to have the launch 5 and the 7 feels a little lighter. They also feel just a little less supportive. Still a good shoe.

Feel great on my feet, have good support, but the back is curved in and digging into my heel whether walking or running. They look amazing. Could be just my soft heels due to 4 months of working at home.

Pros: Comfortable for the price point. Medium level performance shoe.
Cons: Tongue isnt wide enough. A chore to put on without it rolling under.

I ordered a pair for me and my son. He is used to Ghosts and said these were hard and uncomfortable. His were returned for a pair of Ghost 12. This is my 3rd pair of Launch and I loved the first two right out of the box. These needed a break-in period of 15-20 miles. My feet were sore after the first run. They are slowly getting better.

The launch is a comfortable shoe and I am able to complete long runs comfortably. However the heel of the shoe digs into my achilles tendon and I've developed a callus.

I have had Brooks Launch for years, this is probably my 10th pair. But I didn’t like the 7. The heel was high and stiff and rubbed on my achilles. I have returned. Going to try the Ghost.

Not as comfortable as far as padding like the launch 6.
Back side of shoe the tab tends to pull sock down and rub my heel raw.
Will most likely go back to the Ghost before I meet my max miles for running!

I bought these shoes after taking the online fit test. The first thing is that they really do work wonderfully running! I notice the extra "spring" and speed running around the city and have had no knee pain at all in my first three runs.
HOWEVER
The design of the heel curves up and in, meaning after my first run, it rubbed all the skin off my upper heel/Achilles. Like REALLY bad. So after some healing, I'm able to wear the shoes again, but only with industrial band-aids covering the skin. I've never had a shoe that presses so intensely into the upper heel like this, which is why I can only give it three stars.
