These are the 5th pair of Glycerin, and they are awesome!!! Sometimes I'll try running in a different/new shoe, but I always come back to my Glycerin!!!

I love this shoe. Now that I’m just at home, I decided to have an indoor shoe so I need another pair!

These shoes are good. I am not a runner, but I am big fan of cushion-y running shoes. I am constantly on my feet and prefer sneakers that are comfortable and supportive and these are it. The first day I had them I wore them on a 2-mile hilly walk pushing a stroller and my feet still felt good at the end. At the end of the day, my feet did not ache. The cushion in these is excellent. I don't have any hot spots with these and there's plenty of room for my toes. I got my usual size in Brooks and they fit perfectly. I am little disappointed in the color--I thought it was more of a grayish/light blue color rather than the light blue color they are, but these are neutral enough that it wasn't enough to return over. Hopefully some additional color options will come out in a few months.
I'd also recommend:

Love they are so light and cradle my feet. I run long distances and though only just used this first time they perfect — and the colors are sick!

I’m a huge fan of Brooks Glycerin and these feel just as good as the 16 and 17s. So happy to add these to my collection. I love that the black pair are offered in wide also!

I’ve been wearing glycerins for about 8 years now. I used to have a pair for work and a pair for running. Recently the change in their heel-toe drop has made me switch to mizunos for running. And now this version of glycerin is making me switch for work as well. Something about them feels different, not quite as comfortable or squishy as they used to be. It’s a shame, I used to feel like walking on these was like walking with my foot wrapped in a gel pad. Now they just feel like regular sneakers. Not bad enough to return, just not the same. Next year I’ll be shopping for a new brand.

I usually wear an 11 wide, but my left foot is actually 10.5. As the size recommendation says, they are narrower than usual and fit a bit smaller. This means that my right foot fills the shoe to the brim, but my left is very comfortable. I can't size up because my left foot would just fall out, so I'm keeping these. The material is stretchy enough to not cause any blisters or major discomfort on my right foot and the color is so beautiful I refuse to let them go. If you are between sizes - go with the bigger size.

Color 141 is not light gray as it appears, but bright white. White shoes get dirty quickly. Have purchased five or six pairs of this style. Happy to see neutral colors. Hopefully they will have all black in the fall.

I waited to do my review after completing 200 miles in these shoes. I wanted to love these shoes, I’ve never worn Brooks before. I supinate when I run and these were recommended for supinators. Prior to these shoes I’ve been wearing the nike air pegasus. It’s time for a new pair and I’m going back to the air Pegasus. I felt this running shoe was a well made shoe with great cushioning but I kept rolling my ankle because there is so much cushioning that it kept catching me off balance. These just didn’t work for me but maybe will work for some of you but do not recommend for supinators. I like the cushioning to be more balanced which I find with the air Pegasus. It’s a flatter shoe. I wear 7.5 and bought these in my true size. I did not need to size up like I normally do with running shoes. Good luck!

The reviews are correct, the Glycerin 18 does not have the same amount of arch support as the previous versions. I've worn the Glycerin shoe for probably years now but when my left foot started aching so badly from the 18, I dug out an old Glycerin 12 to compare. That old, worn version had more support than the new one. After wearing the old version for about a week, my foot finally stopped hurting. Not sure what to do b/c the Brooks shoe has been so great for years. But unfortunately, not this version.

Nice enough shoes. They were comfortable right out of the box, size and width felt great. I walked about 4-5 miles in them and got a blister on the back of my right heel right where the insole and back of the shoe meet. I figured that I was just breaking them in. I gave them 2 more tries and got a blister in the exact same spot each time. They were sent back. Gotta LOVE Zappos return policy! Now, I’m trying the Adrenaline 20’s.

I love this shoe but because of the sewn in bootie i can't wear it with my high arches. So disappointed that shoe companies keep using that.

I have a high arch and wear powerstep breeze insoles. This is my ninth pair of glycerin’s. The 18s have no arch support and tried increasing support with high arch insole. My foot aches from the 18’s!! ?

Love these shoes. Very comfy and adds stability. I found them to run about half size small. Glad I ordered 2 pairs and returned the pair that was too small

I love wearing Brooks. With my orthotic, they are a perfect blend of support, cushioning and comfort. They are the only sneakers I wear.

Love these shoes! Fit true to size - i'm an 8 in running shoes, 7.5 in dress shoes. I've been trying to find a replacement for my old decrepit Brooks Levitate 2, I do not like the "sock knit upper" in the new levitate models. The brooks adrenaline was too short and not as cushy as I like (although they seemed like a good shoe too). The Glycerins are very cushy. I do wish they had a bit more arch support, but Overall I am very happy with the Glyercin.

Extra cushy. Comfortable right out of the box. Great with a SuperFeet insert for arch support. This is my third pair.

These shoes took a few runs to break them in, but I had an amazing 5 mile run yesterday and my feet felt great afterward. Kind of wishing they had a bit more color, it was a lot of black for me, but over all, I would recommend them.

The shoes fit a half size smaller, as indicated. Because I use these shoes for athletic walking (generally 20 miles or more per week), I generally purchase a half size larger than I would in regular shoes or even casual sneakers. So, I bought a full size larger and am very pleased with the fit. As for style, I am extremely happy that they are a basic whitish/grey. I do not like the neon colors. I also appreciate the cushioned feel of the Glycerins when I walk.

I have narrow feet, and there are limited choices as far as running shoes are concerned. I used to wear Asics Nimbus, but they aren't as cushioned and don't offer narrow sizes any more. I have arthritis in both feet and need lots of cushioning, and these meet that need. I normally wear a 7N and usually order a half size larger in running shoes. I originally tried the 7 1/2 which were too short, so I tried the 8N and they are perfect for me. There is only one color available for narrow feet and I wish, wish, wish they would offer more color choices in narrow sizes. Please JUST DO THAT FOR US!!!! We don't all fit into one width.
I'd also recommend:

I'm a teacher and on my feet all day going up and down stairs and these shoes are fabulous!!! I've had surgery on one of my feet, broken both, and have plantar fasciitias so my feet swell easily and hurt but not after wearing these shoes all day. I love them!

I’ve worn Ghosts for the past several years but decided to try more cushioning. The Glycerins fit perfectly. True to size, lots of cushion and comfort. I can wore them on a 3 mile walk straight out of the box. No breaking in period needed. Love Brooks’ shoelaces. They don’t need to be double knotted and at present just the right length. I never quite fine a color in Ghosts or now Glycerins that I love, but I always find one that is just fine.
