I ordered several styles and brands of character shoes from Zappos. These are the winner. I wear size 8 in street shoes. I ordered a size 9 and they fit great.

I was disappointed these didn't work out for me. I ordered a size up and a half size up as directed, both in size wide, and they were still too narrow. I felt like I needed in between a half and a full size larger unfortunately. I think these are actually character dance shoes but they make beautiful dress shoes with the t-strap. I loved the nude color and they were very flattering but didn't fit and were not comfortable for me either. Sadly returning.

I got a size 10 and I'm usually a size 9. These fit perfectly so order a size up for this brand. Great character shoes and for a fantastic price.

I ordered a full size up (as other reviews suggested) and they fit great! I’m excited to use them for flamenco class

Exactly what I needed!

Loved these shoes right out of the box - so incredibly comfortable! Make sure you order up a size, however. I'm normally a size 7 and the size 8 was the right fit for me.

I ordered 12W. The shoe was labeled 12 W - these were not _wide_. I couldn't get my foot into the toebox

Got these character shoes for dance class. They are great but I found them to run very small, at least a full size

The shoes are beautiful, but not anywhere near accurate when it comes to size or width.

The fit was great and I took Zappos recommendation that I size up which I was a bit worried about. I asked a Zappos rep about it and got an utterly useless reply back from someone who did not answer at all how Zappos calculates those recommendations - but discovered through taking the advice, to size up one full size, that it was the right choice. So however they do it I think the advice can be trusted. The style is great for dancers but I didn’t like it as much as hoped and it is only because I went to school with abusive Catholic nuns who tortured all of us. They wore shoes that looked like these and the instant I took them out of the box I knew I could never cope with being reminded but they are very comfy and will be just right for dancing or generally if you don’t have that kind fo association. They are classic and a little too conservative for my taste but I give it a 9 out of 10 rating (with 10 being a really good choice) generally on this shoe

Ordered both a 6.5 and a 7 for a normal street shoe size 6. The 7 was the definite winner-- so size up a full size. Character shoes in general seem overpriced for what they are. I'd say these fit in that category. Synthetic, inexpensive-feeling materials. They're new, so I can't vouch for their durability in the long term, but they work for now.

I find that the size 7 which is wide is not true to size. But maybe in time, wearing them might stretched out a bit. 6 1/2 is too small and 7 1/2 is too big. Good thing you have a great return policy which will allows me to hopefully break them in. In due time. We will see. Thank you : )
