The fit was too tight across the top of my feet. Even with adjusting the laces it did not matter. I wear a 10 EE and these shoes were no where close. The had no ankle support and pad inside would not stay in place. These are the worst shoes I have ever ordered from Zappos.

One would think that a 411 would not have changed significantly in a couple of years, but I learned that they do.... significantly. The 411 I have just returned had a different sole, and the padded insert was not only a different material, and without the arch, but it was 1/2 as thick, thus, not providing a soft feel like the previous 411Grey that I continue wearing with pleasure.

I was born with my feet and legs turned around toes point backwards and the heals point forward. Physical therapy and braces straightened them out pretty well. So, I have to watch what type of shoes I wear and I LOVE these 411's. I tried another style of New Balance but they made my feet and ankles hurt so I went back to the 411's. All my pain went away. The only problem I have with the 411's is that in about 3 to 5 months of wearing them. That the piece of sole that wraps up on the toe has tendency to come loose and the sole starts to separate from the body of the shoe.

Worst pair of shoes I bought ever. No cushion. No support. NO COMFORT! I had to purchase Dr. Schools insoles the first day I tried these on. You get what you pay for, I paid very little, I got even less. Not sure I'll ever trust Zappos again with another purchase. Y'all got me. Fool me once... Back to Foot Locker.

Perfect in every way.

I like the shoes very much. Size was perfect. They are comfortable but don’t think they are as cushioned as they use to be. I took out the insoles and use my orthotics. Overall, I am satisified and thinking of buying another pair oof white

I have worn Zappos 411 model for several years and plan to continue. The only thing I find different is the bottom inner lining. It doesn’t feel as soft as in past pairs. I might do as another customer did and replace it with a pair of Dr Scholl’s Inner sole liners. Or, maybe my feet have less fat on the bottom and every surface feels harder than it did a few years back.

I’ve been a New Balance fan for a very long time. My most current NB purchase is what I expect from this high quality brand.

GREAT shoes! Especially because we got them on sale. New Balance wide is a great, comfortable and stylish brand. My son loves them.

this is the 1st time i purchased an extra wide New Balance that was too narrow.

My son always wears New Balance tennis shoes. We ordered this shoe is his regular size; totally confused when New Balance changed the fit. Thank goodness Zappos will accept returns!

Had to return the sneakers. They had a material flaw and stain right on the top of the left hand shoe

I returned this-don't like the look or the feel. Looks cheap, and has little cushioning. A cheap sole.

I have ordered this style # before multiple times and liked the product. When reordering this time - I don't know if something was changed, but these shoes burn my little toes on both feet. They are so uncomfortable after a while, that I'm unable to wear them. Will not reorder due to this.

I wanted the women's version and a different style of this shoe (WW411v2) but had to settle for the 411 version for men. I only settled for two reasons: the version I wanted wasn't being sold anymore for women or men (So sad!) and I have bigger feet so I often have to buy men's shoes. Once I tried on the 411 for men and walked around my apartment in them, I knew immediately that I'd be returning them right away. They weren't anywhere near close in comfort or feel compared to the version I had wanted to get originally. So frustrating! I have that same beloved but very used pair (WW411v2) even now that I wear just to walk to and from my laundry room and mailbox. I still don't want to toss them! I really wish New Balance would bring back that version! It was perfect for me! My advice: Always try to buy a second pair of shoes--or anything else you really like--before they're potentially gone forever.

They fit like a 2E rather than a 4E. So they are being returned.

this version of the 411 is junk. the writeup said sl-2 last. this is nowhere near an sl-2 last shoe. the heal is very loose and the instep is way too tight for that. the only thing going for this shoe is the color and the look. my first 30 minute walk resulted in a big heel blister which I am still recovering from. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS SHOE. leave it to new balance to take a perfectly good shoe and screw it up. luckily the grey and black mesh ones are still available on amazon. so if you like the old style of 411 go there.

Excellent, I use it for everyday walking and find them very comfortable.

Comfort is great but very bulky

These are great shoes. I am buying these on repeat.

If I know I'm going to be walking a lot at work, I'll make sure I'm wearing these. Very comfortable and long wearing. I've had this pair for almost 2 years now and feel like I'll get at least anohter 6months to a year out of them.
