My feet are 80 years old and I have been searching for years for a truly comfortable shoe. Eureka! This is it. The foam base with the raised heel do the trick for my feet. The heel is critical for my comfort. These also a very fair price. I now walk with a smile and my dog is very happy with longer walks. Thank you New Balance!!!

I want to commend Zappos for their absolutely SUPERIOR customer service. An absolute standout in today's market where this customer service is rare. I like my steaks rare, but not my service. Thank you Zappos.

These are great shoes, padded and comfortable for walking, very supportive. It's been difficult in the past to find shoes wide enough to be comfortable, but these are fantastic. My only complaint is that the heel pulls down shorter socks (frustrating) but now that the shoes are breaking in that occurence may be reduced.

I got these for running and long walks. They’re really comfortable but if you have high arches like I do then you’ll want to get some arch supports. Ohh they breathe really well for shoes. I can actually feel the breeze when wearing them outside.

Ordered a 4E which is what my son normally wears in New Balance brand but this shoe fits more like an E or 2E width. Had to return.

A little pricey but very good quality. I purchased before a 4-day trip to an amusement park and even brand new, no issues with comfort or support.

They fit well but they're not as comfortable as the model they replaced- New Balance 1165.

Unfortunately, these shoes felt larger and wider than what I expected. Also, when it states "Fresh Foam", I expected the insole to feel more like memory foam, but it felt hard and flat.

It was too tight across the widest part of my foot. I thought it would stretch, but it does not.

I purchased these sneakers thinking that they would be the perfect replacement for the discontinued 1165. They feel much narrower than expected. I wear a 4EEE and these sneakers are narrower.

Loved the sneaker but it breaks down quickly, I do a fair amount of walking and the material is thin and gets worn fast.

Fit was way off in the width. Said EE for the width bit it was obviously just regular width. Rest of shoe was great

Not a true wide. Hubby is a traditional ‘W’, but he thought these ran narrower than a standard non-wide. Nice style though.

the tread of the bottom of this sneaker can be deadly in moist weather--i have taken several falls and they are virtually slick--i can't wear them anymore for that reason

Hoping this was the one but not to be. Did not feel any cushioning in the forefoot. Insert seems to small in front of shoe. On the plus side, fit was great and really liked the looks.

I returned this pair on the same day I returned the other pair from the same order but no credit on this pair yet? What gives?
