Between Zappos and another popular Vans outlet, I managed to score most of these with the exception of the coveted black and white (multi-checker) pair. I skipped the platforms and the "Jack" pair because I don't like them. Here's my take on all of them (as a GenX adult female - Mens size 7): The Haunted Toys Slip On is the most comfortable and understated. They're so cute and these will be my go to (I might try to score another pair). The Lock Shock & Barrel Old Skools are classic, comfortable and fit comparably to the others. The Halloween Town pair are so awesomely ridiculous - like clown shoes - and I love their style, but they are definitely the least comfortable due to the weird tongue in that shoe. I got Jack's Lament Sk8 High tops from another site - these are the same the style as the Sally pair. Similar fit to the Old Skools with a little more protection on the ankles. Lastly, I picked up a pair of the Oogie Boogie slip ons, but those are a gift (one that I was grateful l could get from Zappos due to their non-restrictive return window). They look awesome, but I can't speak to their fit. If you have to make a tough choice and choose one (or working with extremely limited availability at this point), I would recommend in this order: 1. Haunted Toys Slip On, 2. LSB Old Skools, 3. Either of the SK8 High Tops.

True to size

I was so happy that I found them in this site. I was so sad because I thought I lost my chance to get a pair. They are so cute and look so good on, I have received so many compliments. Although they are true to size I felt they are a bit narrow in the front and I did get a couple of blisters on my little toes the first time I wore them, but I just need to get use to them and keep using them. I love them, I'm a fan of The Nightmare Before Christmas so this shoes were a must.

So happy to have been able to get the black and white nightmare before Christmas. They sold out on the Vans website and i order two other ones but really wanted theses. Happy to have found them and got them on Zappos!

Last time I bought Vans I had to size up. But this time I had to size down. So not really sure why there isn't any consistency in sizing. But totally love them. So so cute!

I ordered a pair of the black &white nightmare before Christmas Vans and am absolutely in love with them! I waited too long to order them from Vans and thought I lost out. So, I decided to look on Zappos to see if they were gonna carry them- and they did and I got them within a weekend!

The design is amazing but the fit could be better. The (Disney) Oogie Boogie/Nightmare (Classic Slip-On) is made slightly different than the regular slip-on Vans so they fit tighter. I should've went a half size up so they'd fit better.

These shoes are adorable! I love the design, but it's very heavy and I found it uncomfortable to walk in.
