This is a very lovely dress. I am quite tall and the tea length is more like below the knee on me, but it is a flattering dress. The fabric is darker than it appeared on my monitor, perhaps I would call it a dark silver with lighter silver rosettes. It fits my 5'11", 156 pound frame quite well. I ordered a size 12 and it is a little loose, but I don't believe a size 10 would have been a comfortable fit. This dress was on sale in the tea length, and that drove my choice over the long length. I will wear it in June at a 4pm outdoor wedding and I think it will be totally appropriate for Grandma.

This is a beautiful dress but not quite perfect for me. I'm 5'5" and 125 lbs with a pear shape body and this dress in a size 6 felt too long for me with a bit too much material on the skirt area for me. I could have paid to have it hemmed at least 4 inches to hit below the knee but found a similar dress that fit better. The sleeves on this are a bit itchy but I could have tolerated it for a special occasion.
