These socks are a bit $$$, but well worth it! They last well and are crazy comfortable, and they don't slip down the way cheaper socks tend too. My favorites!

This sock stays put in your shoe. No yanking up the heel. The ultralight is perfect for hot weather here in AZ. I won't wear any other sock.

Best Sock ever- from 5K to marathon, it is all I wear. Every other sock slips, moves, irritates- Balega is one with your foot!

I am very happy with the comfort and fit of these socks. However, after 5 uses they are starting to unravel where the different material panels join on top. See the photo. And to repeat: this was 5 uses followed by 5 washes. I have other Balega socks (for hiking boots) and have been very impressed, but I really cannot recommend these.

They're like hugs for my feet... only my feet. For those days where you just can't stand having your socks touch your ankles. Get off my ankles other socks!!

Growing up poor and frugal, I would always buy the cheapest socks I could find. As I got older, I started to become sensitive to stitching, especially the annoying threads that poke out in the pinky toe area. That's when I started to investigate some of the higher-end sock brands. There was one that I got lots of ads for - the company name rhymes with "sambas." They were ok, but didn't quite live up to the hype. Then I discovered Balega... wow! Pure comfort, great fit. Wearing these socks feels like my feet are being lovingly caressed all day. No painful threads, no itcchy seams. Just wonderful foot coverings made with gentle care in South Africa. Besides being a company that takes care of its community, I discovered a delightful surprise - they pre-wash their socks, so you don't have to wash them before your first wear. I thought that was a lovely touch. If you're in the market for the perfect pair of socks, I highly recommend Balega!

I have always struggled with getting blisters in my shoes no matter the size, width, what have you. When I learned that having pure cotton socks can cause blisters I was turned on to this brand. I absolutely love these socks, they have the best colors and are so soft and I have not gotten a single blister while walking long distances or running in my shoes. Life changing for me!

Super comfy, not too thin, not too thick. And they stay in place without shifting.

A nice pair of well fitting socks which arrived in factory packaging- I like that -sock folded around Balega cardboard tag which provided size & washing instructions & info on sock material - those facts make it perfect for gift giving .
