Love these, they felt great straight out of the box, barely any breaking in time needed. I did have to add insoles bc i have high arches but man they are CUUUTE. I feel like a boss ass b walking down the street in these.

These boots are awesome! They are easy on and off, unlike the boots that tie. They are very versatile! I’ve worn them with jeans, leggings, and a long skirt. They were comfortable right out of the box. I can walk in them all day. Very much worth the price.

If you are a half size, size down. The 7 fit me well and I normally wear a 7.5 or 8. Super stylish and pretty comfortable even without breaking them in.

After reading other reviews I decided to order these in the same size as my Dr Martens 1490 (US 9) and I’m glad I did. I run between a US 9-9.5 and for those who are Doc veterans, they fit pretty much the same as the unisex 1490s- I prefer thick socks. The only difference is the heel feels slightly wider than my lace-ups, but not enough to make them uncomfortable to wear or cause slipping. I live/work in NYC and have made the fateful decision before to wear brand new shoes while walking for miles and usually regret it. These were comfy from the moment I put them on and wore them for a full day of work, without so much as a blister or sore feet. And they’re super cute! Highly recommend!

I went down one size and it is perfect! They are so cute and comfortable

I’m normally a size 6.5 but went down to a 6 and they’re still a little loose but it works well with thick socks. They’re super cute and very comfortable. They did take some breaking in around the ankle - they kept hitting my shins but this softened with time.

These run large but not a whole size and that was my dilemma. I couldn’t keep them and have my heel slip. But they are adorable, made so well, as all Docs are. So wish they would have worked. They’re perfect with wide leg trousers, dresses, skirts. I may try again at some point!

Purchased these for my teenage daughter she is normally a women’s 9 ordered 8.5 and they fit perfect. Super cute and comfortable.

I'm very consistently a US 9 or EU 40 with somewhat narrow feet. I ordered the US 9 in these, but they were marked as an EU 41 and were thus too big. My toes had about a half inch of room. I could have worn them comfortably with thick socks, but didn't want to be wearing those all the time. I then tried the US 8 which is marked as an EU 39. My toes touched the end and the toe box wouldn't stretch with repeat wears. The boot is otherwise super cute - the off-white is true to color. The ankle is thinner than most Chelsea boots, but I like that because I have skinny ankles. Kind of ridiculous that Docs doesn't make half sizes, or at least all the European sizes. I'd own so many if they actually fit.

Since Dr. Martens usually run close to a full size large, I ordered these boots in an 8 US W instead of 9, my normal size. They were too small but not by a huge amount. I didn't like the texture of the leather on these boots, and they had a different sole material than I'm used to with Dr. Martens. The ankle opening was too small (maybe would have been better a size up) and it went higher up on my leg than I expected. Overall I didn't like these shoes for me. Maybe if I had way longer skinnier legs or something. The elastic material was a little stretchier than what I'm used to on a Chelsea boot. I returned these shoes.

The opening at the top is tiny!!! and the edges of the boot at the top are sharp and just slice your leg. ugh.... Boots look great but the leather looks plastic. going back.....

These are fantastic and comfortable boots, however, I need a 7.5, and they don't make half sizes.

Good winter boots to wear with thick socks!

Super cute and stylish shoe. I followed other review recommendations and sized down to the 9 from my normal 9.5. They fit great, super comfortable already.

I’ve had these boots for a couple of months now and I’m in love! It took about a week of consistently wearing them to soften them up but they are incredibly stylish and comfortable. I’m a hairstylist and I’m constantly on my feet all day but with these boots I never get tired of standing! These were my first pair of Dr. Marten shoes and they certainly won’t be my last!

Love the style. Goes with everything! The heel was a little higher than I anticipated so I’m still getting used to them.

Definitely size down! I'm a size 7.5-8, but usually an 8 and I have a wide foot but I definitely need a full size small so I will be exchanging them for a seven. Very cute though!

These are my first pair of Doc Marten's. I personally don't think I can pull of the classic military combat boots look, plus I didn't wanna deal with the shoe lacing. That being said, I love the look and ease of donning these boots. You still get the Doc look but not as grungy. I'm typically between 8.5 and 9 in US sizing. I am mainly a 9 in boots and athletic shoes, but after going off of other reviews I decided to order both. The 8's fit quite snug, wasn't an issue if I wore no-show socks, but because I tend to wear thick socks with my boots, I opted for the 9's. The 9's were like 1/4 size too big, but replacing the insoles with UGG ones helped a lot. I used beauty cotton pads under my socks to prevent pain from the friction of the stiff edge that eventually softened. They're a little heavier than expected, but then realized that's a common trait of Doc's.

I wanted these to work so badly! I ordered 2 sizes and one was too big and the other was too small. They were also much bigger and clunkier than they looked online. However, they are beautiful boots and I still wish they had worked for me.

The show is beautiful however the front top edge was so stiff. Perhaps it would loosen up with wear but too uncomfortable to attempt so had to return.
