For someone with wide feet, these did the job and are wider than normal ! These are perfect for the beach or around the house. If you are looking for a pair of slip-ons that are wide, these are the ones!

Best Slide Ever

Finally a truly wide slide for the shower! Thank you New Balance and Zappos! Didn't come in half sizes, so was able to order the 9 and the 10 to find out which was best for my husband. Returned the other pair, easy peasy. The many other companies making slides pretend that the velcro on the strap is the answer, but it is a lousy choice for the shower. Inside that velcro thing stays totally wet and grows who knows what. Icky! Now hubby is very happy with his new slides that keep their shape, hold his foot securely in place, and serve very well in the shower, drying out before the next shower without any problem. Zappos, keep them in stock please! We'll be ordering again.

These are great slides. Really well constructed. I like that the upper is molded to the foot bed on the sides; this might make it last longer, as there is no glue to cause the upper to peel from the sides. I love the treads on the topside of the foot bed; they give more grip, so the foot is less likely to slide forward, or the sandal to slide off. They are pretty wide, but maybe not a true 4E; seemed more like a 2E in width. I'm a 60-year old woman with bunions (did I just say 60? ugh! Where did the time go?!), with about a 2E right foot and E left foot (I say "about" because it seems to get wider with age and I am basing my width off the shoes that fit me best. I have not actually had a foot expert measure the widths in my feet), and the right foot was just wide enough, with the left foot being a bit loose. One reviewer mentioned that they don't stretch at all across the upper, but they must stretch a little. I tried 2 pairs--sz 6 and sz 7 (which would be about a 7 and 8 in women's). Surprisingly, the 6 fit looser than the 7, but I think it was because they were worn for a while by a previous customer, who wore them long enough to stretch them out a bit, and thus the sz 6 fit better than the sz 7 in my widest foot, and a little too loose in the left. The upper and bottom are both very comfortable and not rough on the feet at all. They are completely made out of a soft, durable, firm rubber and would be great for the beach or the garden, as they would wash up well and dry fast. The foot bed will not cave easily like memory foam does. I have slightly high arches, and the arch support was just a bit lacking. If you have high or very high arches, these may not work for you, as the correct arch support for your foot is extremely important for overall comfort and body alignment. However, even though only moderate support, what support it has will last because of the firm material it is made from. These are a wonderful slide for the right person. If the arch were higher, I would probably keep them, but sadly, I will be returning them.

Very hard to find mens size 16shoes. These are great for shower shoes, pool shoes, walking outdoors, casual.

Using only for showering. Works well.

These shoes fit my husband's 4E width foot very well. The pair he has from 2020 are still cushy and comfortable, although they have stretched a bit. He requested a new pair in black so I bought them for him for Father's Day. He is pleased.

Normally I'm a 6E in New Balance sneakers, so I was worried these sandals might not be wide enough. But they fit great! Thick soles with lots of cushion.

Good quality and good fit. Great for walking on the beach, rainy days or in dewy grass.
