I am a new SAS buyer, Josh and Brent, who own Beekman 1802, posted pictures of the shoes on their Facebook page. So I decided to order a pair. I love the fit and comfort, I'm on my feet a long time for work and these shoes are wonderful. The leather is beautiful and the craftsmanship outstanding.

I have worn SAS shoes for about 10 years and these are by far the best yet. The comfort, support, and style are unbeatable.

Soooo comfortable. I have 6.5, slim feet. SAS is the only place for me to find shoes that fit. Love these shoes. Fit is perfect and comfort is heaven. Try them, you will not want to take them off.

Because these shoes were expensive, I thought a long time before ordering them, but I am SO glad I did! I have a slim foot, and the narrow was a perfect fit that allows me to wear a cushioned sock with them. I bought the red ones, and I get lots of compliments on them, which gives me the chance to brag on SAS shoes. They are extremely comfortablelightweight but with plenty of cushion and arch support. I have walked many miles in them on vacation, and my feet felt fine at the end of the day.

Love the fact that these come in SS width. Wish SAS would make more shoes in this width. They are stylish looking and not clunky.

Five stars for how attractive they are. Drop to four because there is not enough room for my toes.

As always, SAS makes consistent shoe sizes. Unfortunately, I have a baby bunion on my right foot, and the toe box isn't quite high enough to accommodate it. Otherwise, I love the style. These are lightweight and cushioned. A great shoe, but not for me.

I have the white perf in a 9S. It fits well in the heel, but is perhaps a bit too confining in the toe box. I may try these in a different color in a 9N (the size I wear in the Dream loafer) and see if that fits better. My hesitation has to do with the tongue of the shoe. The tongue on my left shoe hits hard against the tendon at the front of my ankle when I flex the foot. (Doesn't bother me at all on the right foot.) I have many other pairs of SAS shoes -- including other lace-ups -- and this is the only style with which I have this problem. It actually leaves me with a bruise after a couple hours of wear. I've thought of taking the shoe to a cobbler to see if there is anything at all they can do to shorten the tongue by a couple millimeters. Just that much would solve the problem for me. Other than this issue -- which may be a "me" issue more than a shoe issue, since I don't have the problem with the right shoe -- I really love this shoe. Comfortable and a nice, clean style. Great with leggings (and hopefully shorts). I can wear my Traveler Lace-Up without a sock, but with these Sporty Luxe Lace-Up, I prefer low-cut sock.

A beautiful shoe, however, this Sporty Lux Lace up Sneaker is shaped like an average foot. The width is at the ball of the feet and narrows at the toe box. The width is not as wide as other sneakers and the toe box lacks in depth. There was a minor construction issue (glue and sole) on the shoe I received. If your feet aren't boxy and you're wide / ww you have a good chance of breaking them in. On me, 8 WW fits snug and 8 1/2 too long. (My feet: 91/2 in length & 4in width). Measure your feet and compare to the online size guide for your size.

I really really wanted to love this shoe. But there was just not enough padding particularly in the toe box. I appreciate SAS for making 11.5 slim because almost no one else does and their shoes are usually comfortably padded. But these felt hard when I walked in them and I could not see walking all day in them.

The extra wide width fits like a D width. They don't have much for arch support. I ordered a clearance pair to try the brand out. No returns on clearance items.. They are a well made shoe, but I've had shoes for half the price that are much more comfortable.

The shoe is great, however, it felt narrow on top and the stitching hit right on my bunion and hurt. I bought the same size I wear on other SAS shoes but this one did not fit my foot properly.

The width of the shoe is fine, but the shoe narrows in the toebox section. Otherwise, beautiful shoe and seems comfortable. Maybe the shoe works for a narrow foot.

This shoe is adorable in the ruby red color - has a kind of Euro cool look that I really like. Unfortunately, the shape of it is not compatible with my foot. I ordered my usual size 5.5W and the toe box is extremely narrow - more like a M. Granted, my feet are difficult to fit: I have a wide forefoot and narrow heel, and these fit me great in the heel. but the toe box was too narrow and also lacks the depth I need for my high arches. As with all SAS shoes, the design and workmanship are fabulous, the materials are excellent and I especially appreciate the quality of the laces - unlike all other vendors I've shopped, SAS actually provides good quality laces that are the right length for the size of the shoe, and they always offer a second set of laces that are a little fun - these came with a set that has a little glitter in them, in addition to the regular red laces. Nice shoe for those of you with very narrow feet! SAS, please offer more of your shoes in red - it's fun and goes with almost everything!

I love the look of this shoe and was very disappointed to have to return it, but even WW was too narrow for my feet. I do have bunions, but can usually wear an extra-wide size. Seems to be well made, but I will have no chance to test how it wears.

I bought these in red from another online store and I love them except for two things: 1) They are not sturdy on wet floors. My feet start sliding and I have to walk very slowly to ensure I don't fall. Walking on wet pavement is fine. 2) My ankles are more narrow than the front of my foot and even though I tie the laces tightly, I can feel my ankles moving in the sneaker. I've been wearing the Free Time since I was 36 and although they are the best support for my feet and knees, I just wanted something different and more stylish. I will still wear these shoes because I love the way they look, just not every day.
