I got this bag about a month ago to use at work. I have been using it everyday and couldn't be happier. I walk about 10 miles a day so having a lightweight pack that can hold what I need. Build quality is perfect. The top opening design is flawless. I also have the rip ruck15 so that is part of the reason I got this one. I also needed a hydration compatible pack and this pack does that well. My only 2 complaints about the pack is the slot for the bladder hose is a little too small. I have several bladders and all have to be forced through. Not a deal breaker but would be nice not to have to force it. The other is there are not strap keepers/ ranger bands for the excess straps. I think at this price point this should be a no brainer to include. I've had them on much less expensive packs. I do love the water bottle pockets and the high
quality YKK zippers. Zipper pulls work as they should. Side and front compression straps are a huge plus and help keep the pack adjusted perfectly and hold necessary gear on the outside. Adjustable sternum strap and waist belt are also great for helping get that perfect fit.

I bought this about 3 months ago and I love it. At first I was hesitant by the thin straps and material, but this has been one of my most comfortable bags. I've used it for hiking and travel and it works great for both.

I've been using this for beach outing and biking around town. It's nice little pack with usual 3 zip design. I can roll up and shove in my car or bigger rolling bag until I need it.
It's not for heavy load for sure, so don't expect this to be like bigger cousin 3DAP.

I bought this pack earlier this month to use on a trip. The idea was to the backpack as companion to my carry on that would fit under the seat in front of me. It did it perfectly and held all my need items just fine. My only complaint is location of the water bottle pouches sitting far up on the straps. Would've been much better on the sides of the main compartment.

First off it's a great bag . It's lightweight and I love the layout of the bag ...I can see what the skipped out on to get to this price point I would have loved to see more padding on the shoulder straps the "padding" that's on there is just about useless. I don't know how much it would have cost to add a few pockets to the inside flaps but that would be nice to see .over all I love the bag

Feels great and fits great. I'm 5" and compared to the In-and-Out 19 pack, it fits perfectly after adjusting. It's a good backpack but I personally think it would be better if it had more pockets. It's basically the Urban Assault Lite. It's a great hiking backpack but not really convenient for my everyday use because I have to dig through all my stuff to find what I'm looking for. I wouldn't return it because I got the yellow color and I love the look of it.

Got this pack to replace another bag I had for several years and a couple deployments. This is my first MR bag and I can say I'm a huge fan of the size and tri zip design already. The build quality is good, although I'm not blown away- but it is an entry level bag. It fits everything I need on a day to day, carries my water and other items I use often, and does so at a solid price. My only quips are the lack of additional storage pockets inside the bag, and the need for a slightly rigid frame to take this to the level I think it should be. would absolutely buy again though.

Great construction but it's small. I wanted something to replace a jansport backpack for overnights. One pair of jeans, sweatshirt and shaving kit and it's full. This will work well for day hikes, biking, but won't be my backpack for airline travel unfortunately.

Purchased a few weeks back. Needed a low frills daypack for 6 days in San Juan Mts, Colorado. 3 days in and no issues.

MR, you need to redesign your sternum straps ASAP. What's up with these? The tiny little bungee cord that wraps around a pointy piece of plastic, which itself juts out awkwardly and jabs into your flesh? Who field tested these? Who designed them? Is there any reasonable explanation/excuse on this one? Every other major pack manufacturer has sternum straps figured out. Apologies for being blunt, because I love your packs, but these particular sternum straps are honestly just awful compared to other brands that are much more low profile, not mention removable and sometimes made of metal. Nobody should have to buy a brand new MR pack then outsource for a decent sternum strap. Am cutting these off, salvaging the webbing and chucking the rest. A decent explanation from MR is deserved, and warranted, whenever possible. Thanks.
