I love Pikolinos and have owned several variations of their booties over the years. I was looking for a "dressier" version with the block heel on this one but it was a no-go. These have the same comfort you get with other Pikolinos shoes, howeverrrrrr, the top of the booty left a huge gap around my ankle. Even when tied as tight as the laces could go, big gap. I felt like i was going to roll an ankle if I wore these for any prolonged period of walking. I recommend other boots by this brand though!

This is the second pair of Pikolino Le Mans I have purchased. The style is basically the same, with some minor differences as far as stitching goes. The main difference is the new pair is made in China and the old pair was made in Spain. I emailed the company about this and they told me that while the boots are now made in China, there are Pikolino managers there, from Spain, who oversee the entire production so there is no difference in quality. Hmmm, we'll see. Anyway, these booties are super cute and comfy. Just be aware that there is a huge space around the ankles. Someone said that is for tucking pants into, which seems weird. I just make sure I wear a thicker pair of socks and they are fine, but it might not be to everyone's liking.

It is a gorgeous shoe, very soft letter. I have wide feet, but even a size bigger is too narrow for me. I wish they would offer a wide width.

These shoes are thee most comfortable shoes I have. I love the L Artiste brand shoe and I thought I would give these a try for a casual walking shoe. The quality is top notch. One satisfied customer here.

The fit and size are wonderful. For some reason, my left foot is now bigger than my right foot {better than having two left feet) but if I wear a thick sock then it all fits fine. The answer is good shoes! And these are good shoes, rather great shoes. I love this brand of shoe, it's my favorite. I have not worn my two new pair of Pikolinos yet but instead I am seriously thinking of putting them in a showcase cabinet, I love them so much. Oh, what to do, what to do....

OH MY, bought these for the style and in hopes they would be okay to wear for evenings out or office days but I did not anticipate how COMFORTABLE these shoes / ankle boots would be! This is my first pair of Pikolinos and I LOVE THESE SHOES! There are certain days I'm on my feet all day at work and these are more than F I N E for 8+ hours! Should be great travel shoes and to do a lot of walking in as well. Sold on the brand.

I love these boots, as soon as I received them and put them on and they fit perfectly and so comfortable. There was never anytime that they have hurt my feet.. Awesome. Definitely will buy these again... LOVED THEM.

I haven't worn these yet (too hot) but I can't wait for cooler weather. The fit is perfect (once I took out the cardboard thingies, lol). I've been looking for some blue boots to replace my old ones, and I am so happy about these. We are going to have a long and beautiful relationship.

No need to break them in. Comfortable. Would buy again

Super cute but realized the color would be an aggravation especially since I wanted to wear everyday. Ordered black.

Cute style and generally comfortable but the tab cut into ankle...which might soften over time but I didn't feel secure around ankles so opting to look at boot style instead.

These are super cute, and fit perfectly... but I'm sending them back. Like other reviewers mentioned, they are loose around the ankles - which honestly didn't bother me. Overall, however, they just didn't feel stable for walking, even with that beautiful sort of chunky (but not toooo chunky) heel. While they were comfortable on, they didn't *feel* like boots when I walked around - they felt more like dress shoes or too-tall wedges. If I were going to wear them just occasionally - say going out at night - I'd keep them, but I'm going to Eastern Europe soon, and the weather will be cold and likely wet, possibly slushy. I'm looking for short boots that I can wear for walking, traveling, and sightseeing, but that are not as casual as hiking boots - I need ones nice enough to wear all day and into the evening. I did love these! But just didn't feel stable enough for my needs. THANK YOU, Zappos, for your return policy!!

Loved the look and quality construction of these boots. However, I have a narrow heel and the fit was just too big for me.

Bought a similar pair in camel several years ago. They were super comfortable and I received lots of compliments. Wore these all day out of the box and many hours since. I am really happy with my purchase. Yes, they are expensive, but I intend to wear them for a LONG time.

Beautiful shoe but too big

Nice boots but they ran big for me.

Great boot, makes my feel look much smaller (I wear a 40). The ankle area felt off - loose above the ankle, binding lower down. It may have adapted with time, but were not the instant comfort I usually find with Pikolinos.

Loved the boots but not the right fit for me. Ordered my usual size but found they were too snug across my toes while allowing some heel slippage. If I went up a size to accommodate my toes, I’m afraid it would be too loose in the heel. Sad because I really loved these boots!

Run big, I need a size smaller than ordered based on size chart and returned. Tricky with no specific half size. Slightly wide in the toe. Nicely made, sturdy and stylish.

My only issue was the ankle felt to loose. Other than that it's a beautiful comfortable shoe but I wish that the ankle part was more fitted so that there was no gap.

Cute but runs long and wide. I have several pairs of Pikolinos that I have purchased over the years and they are all a size 39 and comfortable. I ordered three different style boots this winter and the first pair made in Spain fit great! The second pair, made in China, too small and the third pair made in China too big. I don’t think this will be my “go to” brand anymore, I’m sad I have to send these back.

The boot is very cute! Leather is like butter. I tried on two different sizes they both slipped off on my heel extremely frustrating because they are so attractive.
