BAD QUALITY! DO NOT RECOMMEND!! These shoes are comfortable and stylish and I really wish the quality held up to the price and overall make of the shoe. I have been wearing these shoes for less than a month now and the fabric on the heels on both shoes have ripped up, exposing the material under the leather. I really like the way the shoes fit and look and they are super comfortable, but unfortunately they look cheap and are not made well after the leather started peeling a couple weeks after wearing them. I wore them a few times a week only to work and did not wear them in any extreme conditions. The shoes definitely should NOT have deteriorated the way that they did so quickly.

Suddenly I have discovered flats and loafers, something I would never have considered (and deemed "old lady:) prior to plantar fasciitis and a baby beginning bunion. Thank goodness for Zappos and FitFlops. I have several pairs of FitFlopthong sandals, my favorites but I needed something work appropriate that I can actually walk in (usually 7500 steps a day at work). Who knew they made shoes too? I wear a 7 in the sandals and 7.5 in their shoes. They accommodate my slightly wide feet beautifully. When I'm not walking at work, I wear them at my stand up desk with no issues. They are actually nice to look at too. Grateful!

Hmmm, I really wanted to love these Fitflop Lena Loafers, size US 8.5/Euro 40 in Rose Pearlised. But, I like them okay. Here is why. First, the fit is off. Fitflops, in my experience, have a sizing issue in general. They run really wide (check other reviews) and a half size small. But the problem is that the sizing is inconsistent within the same pair. I have the Lena Loafers in black as well, size 8.5, and of the rose and black pair, even though both are size 8.5, each shoe is different. The right shoe of both pairs is noticeably smaller than the left shoe to the point of being uncomfortably tight and the black right shoe is really, really tight. The left shoe of each pair is larger, with the black left shoe being almost too large. So, the fit is really, really off. I am not able to recommend if you should order a half size larger than your normal size in this brand or stick with your true size. In this style of loafer, you want it to caress and hug your feet. If you can get the right size for both feet, the fit will be just that - a wonderful, caressing hug!
As for the materials of the shoe, I am happy to say the leather is wonderful! It is smooth and thin with a very very slight stretch so it will conform to your feet. The black pair is very matte, and the rose (think Pepto Bismol pink) pair is pearlised. It has a subtle sheen that is pretty and if you don’t like leather that is pearlised, no worries- it truly is subtle in a sophisticated way. There is no embellishment on the loafers whatsoever, so the description “minimalist” is accurate. The lining is similar to faux suede and feels soft and smooth which is great because I would not wear socks with these loafers.
Last point - the loafers are super flat with minimal to no arch support. The sole is rubber and has a really comfortable grip. No sliding around at all on any surface.
So, if you can find the right fit, these Fitflop Lena Loafers would be a great pair of loafers to run around in and would look super cute with capris or ankle-length skinny jeans! They just didn’t work out for me.

I'd really like to see these shoes in action - most women would purchase black, but the video shows the gold loafers. Why not demo the ones most commonly worn? The blasting gold was distracting and didn't allow a real look at how the shoes would normally look.

As someone with bunions that usually prevent her from wearing loafers like these, I was thrilled to discover they were roomy, not stifling. And unlike most flats, these have a high toe box. So your toes won't get mashed up in there. Wearing these makes me feel like I should live in a manor house or Downton Abbey. While there's not much support, it can fit an orthotic. And the padding is thicker than in most flats.

These are very comfortable and stylish loafers. They felt roomy in my size. The leather was so flexible. These are casual and I plan to wear these with jeans. This company is one of my favorites. Fit-flops are great for summer and walking long distances.

Love them! Slightly long in the fit, but I added leather heel inserts and that did the trick. Beautiful, soft leather and very comfortable.

These are really soft and padded. I didn’t expect them to be as comfortable on first wear as they are. I have very picky feet and these are great. They are probably a bit wide and accommodating to my bunions. They are also pretty boring, but will make great comfortable work shoes for a dress casual job.

These loafers are just what I needed for the office. They are very cute, flexible and true to size. I was looking for a very comfortable loader for those days when I am on my feet walking from one side of the office building to another. These are perfect! I wish they came in more colors.

Purchased these for my daughter who commutes to her job. She really likes them and says they are very comfortable and good for city walking. She likes the classic, unfussy style. Her usual size 7 fit perfectly.

These shoes are so cute— perfect for work and can be dressed up or down. They look great with cropped pants or a shift dress or a pencil skirt. They do seem to run large though. I’m normally a size 8/8.5 but the 7.5 fit perfectly.

The Fitflop Lena Loafer fits like a typical Fitflop shoe. By that I mean it is soft, supple, has a super comfy footbed, but the fit of the shoe runs slightly short and is super wide. I wear an 8.5, and when I can get a shoe in half sizes it usually means it will fit well. This shoe is still slightly short for my foot even though it is an 8.5. The real problem I have with the fit of Fitflops is that they all (this shoe included) run really wide. And that mean my foot feels like it is swimming in this loafer. The other issue I have with the Lena Loafer is that it has no styling at all. It is the plainest, black loafer I have ever worn. It is simple black leather - so special heel, no special stitching, no jewelry or anything. It is smooth black leather, period. I like my shoes to have a little bit of style and this loafer has none. All of that said, I have to say that Fitflops are always comfy on the feet - they feel (and look) more like slippers than street shoes.

Go FitFlop! I love these flats. The leather is soft. I have it in the bubble gum pink and the color is adorable! Right out of the box these shoes were snug. But as I wear them, they are molding to my feet and getting softer and softer. They are well made. These flats have a nice little padding at the ball of the foot to absorb impact as you walk or stand and good arch support. I hope they bring in some bright fun colors as these are fun shoes to wear. I can walk in them all day.

I found my regular loafer size of 7.5 way too big in this shoe. It's a beautiful shoe.

Perfect fit, true to size and very comfortable, but decided to return in favor of two other styles of loafers I had also ordered: Leather Wrapped Bit Driver from Massimo Matteo, and Lorna from Naturalizer.

These shoes were a gift for my [grown] daughter who has very high arches but weak knees. She needs strong arch support so I'll be getting her some Dr. Scholl's arch support inserts. But overall she loves the loafers and said she can already feel a difference in the better support for her knees.

I got tired of squishing my toes into pointed-toe flats and these were a perfect replacement. They are comfortable and good looking -- just watch out, as they definitely run big. I'm usually a 6-1/2 to 7. I first ordered a 7 and my feet were swimming. I exchanged for a 6-1/2, and could probably go down even a half-size more, but a small added insole is making them fit just right.

The fit is sufficiently wide, the soles are soft, and I like the look. The shoes are not as supportive as FitFlop sandals or casual sneakers. I guess if it was, the shoes would be bulkier. I like the shoes but they wouldn't be good for a lot of walking. I'll buy other colors if they create a loafer with the sole of the sandal.

This Lena Loafer is comfortable and the leather is very soft but the shoe lacks structure and support. I usually wear a 7-1/2 or 8 and the size 8 was perfect for length. However, the width was very wide in the middle and heel of the shoe. The toe box was not overly generous even though the shoe ran very wide and it was baggy and gapped in the middle of the shoe when I was walking. I did like the rubber slip resistant sole which has good grip on wet or dry pavement and was soft and comfortable. The shoe has a very classic feel to it so I would wear it with a dress or pants/jeans. For me it's a perfect shoe to go out in the afternoon or evening but I would not be comfortable wearing it for an all day walking trip.

The shoe did not fit anywhere. It was like putting my feet into boxes. Length was ok but width throughout was very wide. I almost always wear a 7M. Not these. Also quite wide at the heel. If you have wider feet these might just be the ticket. Cute shoe with reasonable arch support.

I've recently become a fan of FlipFlop having been thrilled with some knit sneakers I bought this season. Thought I'd try this loafer to wear to work. The leather was beautiful and I think it would be supportive enough but it was just a touch too narrow -- the show gapped near my arch. I was sad to return it.

Very comfy. Not the most fashionable things. But I’ve only worn them a couple times and the seems are coming apart. It’s not like I have big fat feet. I don’t even have a bunion on that foot. I guess it’s just shoddy construction. (I added the one photo so you could see how how they are not worn )

Much too wide! Oddly longer then normal, but OK.
On FitFlops website I looked at their “find your fit” section. This shoe is in the “dynamicush technology” fit group, but it does not explain this fit group!
It does explain that it’s a looser wider fit if it is their “original micro wobble board” or “standard micro wobble board” fit. Average for their “supercomff ” fit, and extra toe room for their “anatomicush” and “iqusion” fit.
Mad about this lack of explanation on all these weird and special sizings, so I’m not re-buying.
