First and foremost the Burgundy Vintage is stunning! I feel so lucky to have found them because of the 4 colors Leona comes in this seems to be the hardest to find. I got sooooo many compliments. I received them on a Monday and wore them everyday through Saturday. I was concerned that the weight of the boot would cause me to trip a lot but I didn’t trip at all. Not once. These are my first Docs and I’m already planning on adding more to my wardrobe. Secondly, I wear an 8-9. Meaning sometimes I fit an 8, sometimes I fit an 8.5, and sometimes a 9. I ordered the boots in an 8. At first they seem okay with two pairs of socks although still a bit roomy but then I broke the leather in a tiny bit and they became even looser. I realized I’d have to size down. I exchanged for a 7. I say all that to say this, if you’re hesitant about sizing down, DONT BE. It’s a must that you size down.

Fantastic Boots! I wear a U.S. size 9 (wide) E.U. 39, and ordered the 8... perfect fit. Wore these for one day to break them in, and already I can tell that these will be one of my favorite daily wear boots. The 2&1/4 height heel with the 1&1/4 platform make these perfect for some nice height while remaining comfortable to walk in all day. Also not too bulky feeling, while being chunky and cool. Cherry color is beautiful and the shoelace hooks are a well designed ‘closed’ type so as not to catch or bend like typical open type eye hooks. Also, nice and grippy on ice. Highly Recommended

Followed advice and sized down...I wear an 8.5 so would normally order a 9; the 8 is a perfect fit. Comfortable from the first wear.

The fit was probably slightly big but not unreasonably so. Slightly thicker socks would make them perfect. They are beautiful and the perfect height imo. I don't like boots that are too tall and they weren't. I have accidentally ordered a size 6 US in Docs before and they were too snug, slightly encasing, but thankfully they fit my daughter so I didn't feel the need to return them. This time I made absolutely sure I got a size & US and again, just a tad on the roomy side but they are too lovely to send back.

Fantastic boot. Heavy with the lug sole, but feels amazing. Looks like a heel, walks like a flat. I have not been disappointed. For reference, I am 9 wide or 9.5 in standard shoes, but in Doc Martens I wear a size 9 comfortably.

Size: I typically wear a woman’s size 8 in footwear other than Dr. Martens. With Dr. Martens my size varies by model and whether they are a unisex or ladies size. In the Leona model a 7 fits me well. (I believe Leona only comes in ladies sizes.) Color: With a name like Brick I wasn’t sure what to expect. But it’s a really gorgeous and unique color not quite captured in the stock photo. Brick is neither a true red or true orange but a pleasing combo of the two - leaning a bit more toward orange - that is classy and especially perfect for wearing with fall colors, though not limited to only fall wear. Break-in Period: The leather is Burnished Wyoming. It’s soft and comfortable from the get go and didn’t require a break-in period. Wore all day walking with no problems. Overall, I’m very pleased with my purchase.

I am usually a size 8 in sneakers and 8.5 in boots/heels always. I ordered these in a US 8/UK 6, and they were SO BIG. I put 3 pairs of socks on and they still were big. So glad I ordered US7/UK5. Dr. Martens usually run a whole size bigger anyways because they don't come in half sizes so always size down. Also they are comfortable!!!

These boots are absolutely beautiful! The vibram sole is eye-catching and has a great grip. The shoe laces are the only drawback--they don't stay tied or lace up tightly but shoelaces are easy to replace. They run large. I usually wear a 7.5 but the 7 fits with plenty of room and I wear them with orthotics. They do not give any more support than an average shoe which some people will like and others not so much.

Beautiful, i love them and i always get compliments on them. I use them for my office job and they go great with my outfits. Dr martens are not known for being comfortable so i wasn’t surprised but im used to them.

These boots are gorgeous!! I love the color and the thick and bouncy sole. They do feel a bit large but I would rather wear thicker socks than to size down and have them be too small. Can’t wait to rock these this winter!

I really like the boots but I feel that the size runs half a size small. I consistently wear a size 9.5, based on the size chart I ordered a 9 and they are too short. The width is good and the comfort of the foot bed is good but I will need to return for a bigger size. Overall great boot, the leather feels like it is good quality and the color is nice. The heel is not too high but high enough to be stylish.

I am always a 9 in a boot. I purchase these in an 8. They fit perfectly. These are my favorite boots. They are so cool and comfortable

I just ordered a 3rd pair of these because the sizing is very off. I think my first 7 had a missized shoe as one felt larger than the other. I tried an 8 and as a true size 8 shoe they were just too large. I had to tighten them all the way till the tongue was no longer visible and they still felt large with at least an extra inch or toe room. Hoping the new 7 fits proper because the shoes themselves are so amazing. They are a cheery faded red, very heavy duty, strong platform and the typical feel and comfort of Docs. If you’re used to it, they are the chunky typical feeling of all the other platforms. I am a slimmer to average build. And usually wear a true 8 but the 8s in these felt like a 9.

These boots are amazing! The leather is buttery soft and the brick color with black hardware looks so good - definitely eyecatching boots. Anyone would be happy to add these to their collection!

I’m generally not one for collecting colors when it comes to docs but the Leona style has a special place in my heart and the new brick red color is just amazing. Looks even better in person. I now have the black, butterscotch, bone and brick red Leona (and taupe Rometty, which is like a sister to Leona and the only reason I don’t have the Leona in taupe as well). Love them all.

Typically a 7.5 women/, and I ordered the 7 in the brick color. The fit is good, the color is "slightly" more orange, and they are softer around the ankle than I expected. Only gripe is about the laces...they feel/look a little too thin for the boots. But that is an cheap and easy fix.

I just got these in the newest color “burnished brick” and the leather is SO soft, they were easy to put on and take off, and they’ll be easy to break in. The color is gorgeous and it is a great alternative to the coveted butterscotch. They’re so cute and great for everyday styles!!

I purchased these from the actual DrM website. I normally wear an 8.5/9, based on reviews that these run a bit large I ordered a 9. These fit perfectly, may need a smiddggee break in, but they are wonderful. The leather is a slight olive and very nice. Compared to the Devon hearts that I also just received, these are lighter in weight. I love thee boots!

I love this boot!!! I shouldve known, stick with Doc Martens. Always the best. I tried to order a different brand...bad switch. Gotta stick with what I know. Love love love. It is a different color, only because they were out of the brown one i really wanted. I will order when they have em.

The sizing is questionable if you have never tried on Dr. Martens before. In this style, if your shoe size is a whole number, order your true size, do not size down. If you are a half size then size down by half a size. This is a boot so a thicker sock is recommended for a tighter fit. I’m a size 9 in most shoes, sometimes 8.5, I’m a size 7, sometimes 7.5 in men’s shoes. The size 9 was a perfect fit, not too big or loose, yet not too snug or small. I pair them with a thicker sock and it’s a perfect fit.

These were my first pair of Doc Martens boots. I typically wear a size 9 or 9.5 but I know they tend to wear a full size smaller. I was scared to order the 8 but they fit perfectly, not even too tight. Always a plus when you can stuff thick socks into them to help break them in!

I am a 9 wide. Always. (Sometimes I order men’s shoes for comfort.) I read the reviews, held my breath and ordered an 8. They fit perfectly. Great boots! I’m going to have to wear some thicker socks to avoid blisters around the ankle for a bit, they are stiff uppers.
