I ordered a 9.5 in black. I have tried many shoes to find some that fit properly. I first put these on and thought, "This might be the one!" They were comfortable from day one and I'm very happy with them. The leather is good quality and the arch support is the best I've tried. (I do have another red Mary Jane type shoe by Earth that also has great arch support.) I have a medium arch. The style is unique, not the coolest, but a very nice looking low boot. I will wear them mostly with jeans. And Zappos rocks!

The size 6 boots fit well but I am returning because the tan color is kinda icky. I don't need black and I never get suede because it looks messy immediately. The style is hip for this senior lady and the extra velcro strap closure is a clever added comfort bonus. I recently fractured my ankle so I am looking to add more ankle boots to my wardrobe but I have difficult feet to fit (looks like almost everyone does) with wide toes, small bunion, narrow heels, high instep. Also, I am prone to plantar fascitis so prefer shoes that I can wear my orthotics when needed. Stores rarely carry my size so I am thrilled that Zappos makes it so easy to chat, purchase, try-on, return.

Really serious support, in fact more than my orthotic. I thought it might be overdoing it a bit. This boot gapes at the ankle and has no way to make it tighter. I also didn't like the wrinkles on the top -- looked better in the picture online.

This is the second pair of boots from "Earth" that I've had. I wore the first pair almost every day in the winter for 2 years before they started to show any signs of wear. This new pair is equally as good. They might feel a bit stiff right out of the box, but the break in quickly, and are super comfortable. The ankle-height style is really versatile. The look cute with skirts, leggings and leg warmers, or pants. And the arch support is terrific. Love them!

Even tho I measure at an 8, I usually order an 8 1/2 just because I want them to be comfortable right out of the box. With this shoe, it was important to get the right size because of the arch support. It hit in the wrong place with the larger size but perfect in the size 8. It’s a super cute shoe and I know I’m gonna love it!

I love these boots! They look great with everything. I like the texture of the leather .

The length was good as well as the width except that the arch was totally off( partly under my heel) . They were so cute but had to return due to the arch issue.

These are cute well made boots. I could tell they would need some breaking in, but didn't want to chance trying. My heel also slipped when I walked. I almost kept them, but opted for the Danskos, which fit my feet immediately out of the box.

I really like these boots....style, color, nice leather, well-made. My foot is fairly wide and they hurt in width at the toes. Would love to have kept them, but instead, had to return them.

I loved these shoes and wore them often, but after having them for just over two months, the heal is completely coming apart. For a shoe that costs close to a $100 I expect a little more. It really is too bad, because it's otherwise very comfortable and stylish.

Very comfortable. I love my boots and wear them all the time. Earth shoes are always a dependably quality product. I'm happy with my purchase.

Comfortable on day one.

I usually wear a 7 1/2W but these worked in a 7 W even with my orthotics in place. They are a bit loose around the ankle, but I think that is the style now to go with slim leg pants. The are very cute and comfortable.

These fit with my custom orthotic inserts!!! Hooray! And they are cute and comfortable too.

I love these ankle boots! The fit seems true to size. Even better, they're wide enough that I can wear socks! That doesn't happen often as I wear a 6W and sometimes the wide is just large enough to get my foot into without socks. Earth may be a new go-to for me! I could wear them right out of the box and have been wearing them everywhere since. No blisters or breaking in. I like styling too, not just plain boring, and these have it. Two zippers, a buckle, different textures--one zipper is just for appearance. Easy to get into and out of and the buckle actually adjusts a tiny bit. Love them!

Yay! I am in love. The 6 wide is perfect and sized just right. It's loose enough in fact that I can actually wear socks. Sometimes a shoe may be sized perfectly for pantyhose, but there's no way my foot is getting in with socks. I'm so thankful these are made for socks. This is my first pair of Earth booties and I may now have a new go-to brand other than Rockport!!! So comfortable right out of the box with no rubbing areas, and I could walk in them right away. One note for some people, though, there is a distinct arch, which fits me perfectly, but if it doesn't match your foot, it could feel uncomfortable. I wouldn't size up or down--just order your size. Absolutely recommend!

Love these booties. Cute with dresses or jeans. Not high heel, but not flat either. Love these.

I wasn’t expecting to like these booties near as much as I do! They are easy to get on and off with the zipper opening and we’re comfortable straight out of the box and all day long on my feet at work.

First I ordered a 12 which is my normal size. It was WAY too big. So I sent the 12 back and ordered an 11. Miracle or miracles they fit! These shoes are comfy and casual but still look good. I just love these boots!

I bought this style boot in-store in a brown & absolutely loved it. A few weeks later I went back to the store sale looking for a black shoe in the same style. They didn't have a black in my size, but they did have a grey suede. It also felt so good on my foot, so I bought it. I went home & got online & found the black shoe immediately at Zappos, but they were out of stock. But Zappos offered the option of having them contact me when the shoe was back in stock. I selected that option thinking it would probably be next fall before they'd have the shoe back in stock. Much to my surprise within 2 weeks I got an email letting me know that they had the shoe in stock. I jumped online immediately & ordered the shoe. It felts as comfortable as the other 2. The arch support is the best & probably the thing that sold me on the shoe. The arch support fits perfectly into the arch on my foot. Love it!

I'm typically an 8, which is what I ordered and it was ok, but felt I had room to go down, so i ordered a 7.5 and it was perfect. I have a wide foot, and ankle (and everything else lol) and it was comfortable. I got the gray suede, which I think is softer than the leather. I was able to spend hours in them on my feet the first night I wore them, even dancing. Super cute with a skinny jean. Also, love Zappos next day shipping and easy returns so i could order a couple of sizes/colors and return what I needed to.
