Beautiful shoe but snug and it squeaks when you walk.

Earlier reviewers are correct — the boots are a little tight and they do squeak unmercifully. But they’re gorgeous, and I’m gonna gamble that they will loosen a bit with wear and give up squeaking the same way. Wish us luck!

The boot is cute but, the fit is very snug and tight around the ankle. I have several pairs of Clarks boots and each pair have fit perfect right out of the box. These are a very different fit. Plus the suede appeared to be worn off in several places. Returning them. Disappointed.

Love the shoe but was too small. Slightly too small from heal to toe in my left foot and too narrow at the widest part of my foot. The rubber sole is good for wet weather but it does squeak on any flooring that isn’t carpet.

These were pretty disappointing. I am a solid size 7, and even have a pair of Clark booties from a few years ago that are 7s and fit great. I could hardly get these boots on, and even after I returned the 7s to try a size 7 1/2, I still had the same issue. Also the sole is extremely squeaky on the floor. Majorly bummed that these didn’t work out, since they are the exact look I had in mind.

I wonder if these are really Clark's. On the Clark's website they only have the outside zipper. The ones from Zappo's have a fake outside one plus an inside zip. In any case they are way too small. I couldn't even get my foot in. Ordering a size up from Clark's to compare.

I loved the look of these and wanted to much to keep them, but they were very uncomfortable...something unusual for Clarks.

Fit is true to size. The sole makes it feel less cushioned than other Clark’s, but they’re still comfortable. The rubber on the bottom does squeak on tile and linoleum but that’s easily fixed by rubbing a fabric softener sheet over the bottom. Or, once you’re certain you’re keeping them, you can run super fine grit sandpaper over the bottom if you don’t want to wait to break them in.

I loved these even more in person than online. They appear to be very well made and expensive looking. The leather is a beautiful dark tan color and the chunky heel is the perfect look for fall with some boyfriend jeans. The one thing I’m on the fence about is that the soles are VERY squeaky when I walk around the house. I’m trying to decide if this bothers me enough to return them or not.

They are extremely stiff. Hoping after a few more wears they will soften up a bit. Another review said they made terrible squeaking noise. That only lasted a minute. Really do like them. Probably should have gotten a size smaller, but overall, I really like them.

The toe box was narrow and they squeaked when I walked in them. The color was beautiful. I ordered this same shoe in the taupe suede and they didn't squeak and were more comfortable in the width.

In general, I can pretty much count on any Clark shoe fitting me. However, these were on the narrow side. I would consider my feet width to lean towards the wider side of average. I was quite surprised. Couldn’t keep them.

Unfortunately, I listened to other reviewers and sized up 1/2...did not need to. I think these run true to size and are a normal width. The biggest issue is the sole. IT SQUEAKS. Yes, others noted this but I don't think the squeak will subside because it comes from the "rubber-like" sole Clarks used. The boots are absolutely gorgeous but that squeak would drive me mad. If I thought it would get better with wear, maybe I'd keep and add an insole. But I am afraid they have to go back. Bummed because they are excellent quality and price.

Hmmm. I just purchased 2 pairs of Clarks booties, I love the brand and have worn it for years. This boot is really good looking, You could wear it with a dress, suits, jeans, leggings whatever. I don't know if they changed their sizing, but like the other pair this one runs very small. Also, I have a fairly narrow foot and an M width usually is roomy enough for socks, not in this case.I would recommend going up at least a half size. I am returning them for a half size larger. Fingers crossed.

I should have listened to the negative reviews! These were really uncomfortable and my feet hurt by mid morning wearing them. The padding was so thick and felt strange and pushed feet to the top. They also squeaked and were embarrassing to wear in the office. And while I liked their look, the material looked like really cheap fake leather.

I should have listened to the other reviewers! I've had several pairs of clarks shoes that I liked and so disregarded the reviews about these being uncomfortable. There is a weird soft padding at the bottom of the shoe, which sounds like it should be comfortable, but it's not. My feet hurt wearing them, even if I'm not walking. If you have to walk more than a block or so, they are very uncomfortable. The leather looks like a cheap pleather couch. They definitely squeak too!

I have Clarks. I love Clarks. This shoe, though, was the worst. I saw the reviews and ordered up a half size. That didn't fit. Returned and ordered up a full size just because I love the look of this shoe. That didn't fit. Returning and won't be trying again. Really disappointed. (The review made me choose a star for comfort, gave it only 1 but I couldn't even get my foot in the shoe so I don't really know.)
