My 2.5 year old may simple be too small for these. He's skinny and tall with big feet and he found these much too heavy and cumbersome to walk in. Cute though. We are returning.

The boots seemed like they were well-made but they were too tight in the toe for my son, which was surprising since I had ordered a half size larger than his measured shoe size. Unfortunately, the next larger size isn’t in stock.

Have had regular Bogs for my son before, but the rain boot style is much too tall in the calf and uncomfortable. He cannot bend his knees.

My 5 year-old son could get his size 4XW foot into this regular-width boot comfortably, which is great, BUT the material is too stiff and the overall shoe is too heavy. I'm sure that's normal for rainboots, but my son had gotten used to Crocs rainboots, which are way lighter and softer. He always begged to wear these shoes based on how they look, but he would very quickly take them off and refuse to put them back on. It led to us having to carry back-up shoes whenever we left the house, so I wouldn't buy these for a little guy again.

Usually whenever we buy rain boots, they typically run larger than the normal shoe size to accommodate thick socks. It was not the case for these boots. I ordered my son's regular shoe size, but when he tried them on at home, his heel was hurting within 2 minutes. I'm returning them, but haven't decided whether I should order the next size up or a different rain boot altogether. I'm unsure if the pair we received was just a defective pair or if the cut was just not right for my son's foot. I really like the way these boots look (style, weight and treads) and the fact that the kids pull the boot up from the cut-out as opposed to a handle (which tend to break after a lot of use and abuse.) If I end up getting a larger pair & get a thumbs up, I'll write a 2nd review with more stars.
