I originally ordered a 42 (size 8-8.5), which is my normal size in Ecco shoes, but I had to exchange them for a 41. The 41 fits perfectly now. I would definitely recommend getting a size down. They are very comfortable and they look great.

I purchased this shoe for my husband, he is rarely satisfied with all three -comfort, quality and style. He found this show perfect. I ordered it in black as well and for my sons. They are consistent in quality and true to size.

I've always like the ECCO show. The last somehow fits my instep perfectly. The shoe never slips on my heel. It does look large on my feet, like all ECCOs, but fist perfectly.

They are good but the quality/workmanship does not seem as good as the pair I purchased 5 years ago ??

Great, comfortable Oxford shoe. Good support. Dress or casual wear, it can go either way. The shoes run a full size too big.

Very comfortable right away as though they were broken in. I have Morton’s Neuroma in one foot and the soles of these shoes kept me pain free. Very staid look - almost stodgy - otherwise perfect.

Since I'm a true 12 this shoe is a little bit longer than I expected. But the tag in Zappo's was very clear (the shoe runs between 12 and 12.5) so is not a nightmare. Very good shoe, well manufactured, very nice design.

Since this shoe is between 12 and 12.5 (46) and I'm a true 12 is a little bit longer than I was expecting. But is not a nightmare... It's a very nice shoe, super comfortable.

Shoes look and feel great. I will say that a size 13 mens on my feet is a bit longer than most other size 13's but it seems as if the extra length is limited to the toes as the instep fits perfect on these shoes.

Have always liked Ecco, but this is a lower price point so I would say that explains the heavier, stiffer feel. Zappos recommended a 47, but I knew from experience to go 46 and I was right, and it still feels I little long and wide. Fits a little loser than most around the heel.

Shoe has nice fit and finish. The last is very comfortable with low-medium support. I am not a fan of leather shoes that are not lined with leather and this model cuts corners with a thin canvas-like liner, it is NOT leather lined. There is no question that over time your foot will wear through the cheap material, shortening the life of this shoe. The length does run large and a half size drop yielded a good length, BUT, there is a corresponding drop in the width of the toe box so the toes on this medium width foot became modestly scrunched. Narrow feet will be happy. These shoes at 90 dollars would be a fair value. Over 100 dollars they should be lined with leather and offer a selection of widths to account for their running large.

I have worn ECCO Biarritz shoes for the past two years. They are probably the most comfortable dress shoes I've ever worn. I was disappointed to discover that the sizing has been changed on this version of the Biarritz. I normally wear a 45. The 45 is too big and the 44 is too small. ECCO does not make 1/2 sizes, which is a shame. If the sizing fits your foot, I'm guessing you'll love this shoe. But I'll never know. :-(

They are well made shoes and look great. I read the comments about them running larger, but dismissed it because my foot is pretty standard. I'm 63 yo and have always bought the same size shoe. Maybe it's because of the size in Europe, but 12-12.5 was just a little big. I didn't send them back because I was afraid 11-11.5 would be too small. They feel great on also. Nice shoe.

My husband really liked the look of this shoe, so we ordered it in two colors. Because of reviews stating that the shoe runs a bit large, we ordered accordingly. The length was fine. Unfortunately, the toe box was so narrow, the shoe was painful. My husband's feet are medium, not wide.
